XNand Healer GUI v0.73

TingedAce released a new version of XNand Healer GUI – a GUI app to help you dump and manage NAND files, remap bad blocks and also uncripple your Xbox 360. What's new/fixed (since v0.71): – This release is for small but important change to the build glitch image feature. It's possible for another Multibuilder operation e.g. "build JTAG image with custom smc" to leave an smc.bin file in the datamy360 folder. The next time xeBuild is invoked by Xnandhealer (or from cmd line) the build would erroneously pick up this smc and cause a bad image build. Now any leftover smc.bin file that may be present in the Datamy360 folder will be removed before building the image, thus ensuring the correct smc is always used. – Supports xeBuild 14699 and Multibuilder 0.6 (old ggBuild now not supported) – Supports automatic XeLL bad block remapping in first 0x50 blocks (first 0x10 big blocks) – Added option for including dashlaunch patches or not – Added 'Glitchable' CB check (as well as JTAGable check) – Added convenient button to open windows explorer at the working directory – Updated known CB list with non-glitchable CBs 4577, 5772 & 6752 – Changed: USB is now the default interface instead of LPT – Changed: Now uses xell image + other files from Multibuilder folder and removed embedded versions – Changed: Removed in-built fcrt extractor (xeBuild does it now) Fixed: Unable to select Jasp16 SB or BB in Build XeLL tab or Build Glitch tab – Fixed: Relocated bad blocks could be reported in reverse order in a very few cases Official Site: http://www.rigid360.co.uk Download: here...

Ripping Your Own Discs with XBC and Topology Clarification

As there is confusing and conflicting information in the wild we would like to clarify a few points with regards to ripping your own discs and what to do with topology data. 1. Making Your Own Rips When ripping your own discs with the latest Xbox Backup Creator v2.9 Build 350 you should have "processing AP2.5" unchecked. This adds an extra hour to each game rip and is not required. This option is only used when topology data is being collected for development purposes. Remember that angle measurements need to be as accurate as possible. If you rip your own you are using just 1 set of measurements. Your laser may be weak or you may have just one measurement out of hundreds that is out of bounds of the accepted values and your disc will error and you will be flagged for an AP2.5 Failure (See point #3) FYI the accepted values are -/+ 22 (even though originals rarely go above -/+ 2 with a perfect quality laser – the extra is allowed for those that have a poor quality laser) The median files that are created are the work of HUNDREDS of dumps per game over many different consoles and many different drives. Then using a complex algorithm millions of individual results are then calculated to give the absolute best timing scenario possible. The median files that are provided give a deviation of -/+ 8 (The original target was 9 – so anything below this is considered awesome). To give you an idea of what we are talking about here is the deviation data when using the median file on an XGD3 title: http://pastebin.com/VSNkwF3m As you can see the results are superb and rarely go above -/+ 4 with a maximum of 8 in just one instance. However if you rip your own you may find that...

Topology Files for iXtreme LT+ v3.0

Topology Files for iXtreme LT+ v3.0 Released: 12/25/2011 ================================================== ============================= After an exhaustive development process we are pleased to release these disc profile topology patches for the iXtreme LT+ v3.0 firmware. These patches are based on millions of angle measurements spanning hundreds of hours to get the most accurate values possible. There are currently two patches available: 1) XGD2.COD-BO.COD-MW2.Halo-Reach.top.data.v1.bin SUITABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING GAMES ONLY: a) Call of Duty: Black Ops b) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 c) Halo: Reach (XGD2 ONLY, don't use this on backups of the XGD3 beta) These games have the exact same topology and therefore can share the same profile data. This was confirmed by doing at least 35 iterations of profile data for each game and analyzing the results. Over millions of measurements, not a single one deviated from the median by more than 1 degree, and there were no cumulative effects at all. These games are identical in the way they were mastered. 2) XGD3.Profile.ID.F87A804E.top.data.v1.bin Suitable for all XGD3 games with this disc profile ID: 0C3DF524599094E6CB87ECC8-F87A804E This covers all current XGD3 releases (at the time of writing) except for the Halo: Reach XGD3 beta. Check bit.ly/ap25list and stay up to date with the latest news on the usual sites so you don't end up patching and burning the wrong data if a new XGD3 game comes out with a different disc profile ID (there are several more already waiting in dae.bin). Media ID shouldn't matter since we always check our data against all foreign versions of games in DAE.bin using the targets from the v12 table and several unique per-Xbox v8 tables. Again, stay up to date with the latest news in case this situation changes. P.S. You may be thinking that it's better to use topology data taken from a specific title or pressing… and that may be true… but...

C4E’s iXtreme LT+ v3.0 in association with Team Jungle & Team Xecuter

C4E’s iXtreme LT+ in association with Team Jungle & Team Xecuter Official release of the iXtreme LT+ v3.0 for Benq and phat Liteons Support for topology data on AP25 enabled titles. Will correctly answer any ap25 challenge eliminating need for dae.bin to create a backup. No need to make new backups everytime dae.bin is updated on console Topology Data When ap25 was first introduced I devised a way of calculating any challenge which I called the silver bullet which I made reference to a long time ago. This was withheld until it was absolutely necessary. It was easier to replay the fixed challenges. With unique per console ap25 challenges it has become necessary to use the silver bullet. A series of measurements are taken across the disk. This topology data is then used to calculate a response to any ap25 challenge. It is very important that the drive used to create the topology data is reliable at reading discs as bad topology data equals bad ap25 responses. Liteon drives using 0800 v3 seem to be more accurate for this purpose. Only ap25 enabled titles require topology data. Activation of ap25 on older non-ap25 games although technically possible is highly unlikely. Currently topology data for xgd3 titles are similar and topology data from one xgd3 title will pass on another xgd3 title although this is not advisable. Per title title topology data is best as there are slight differences between titles and newer titles could have different topology than existing ones. I would like to wish everyone a merry xmas and a happy new year. I look forward to the challenges ahead. Thanks go to Team Jungle for their hard work and efforts in the development process. Thanks also go to Team Xecuter for their support to this...

Coming very soon   On a side note a lot of users have asked us to do a Pin Header cable set for the Nand-X and CoolRunner as the current Nand-X pin header set is popular with none QSB users so we designed that too. xeBuild GUI v1.1

Swizzy released a new version of his GUI for xeBuild v1.0: Overview – What it does – This is a frontend/GUI for xeBuild, what it does is make it easy for you to select most options that you might need, such as Motherboard, SMC hack for freeboot, image type etc. etc. – It is able to check what SMC hack you have previously used for JTAG it's also able to tell you what SMC version you have, and if it's a JTAG, Clean/Retail, Glitch or Cygnos patched SMC – If you put any of these files next to the executable it'll use them automatically: SMC.bin – Custom SMC of your choice; ONLY USE THIS OF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!! Xell.bin – Custom Xell of your choice; ONLY USE THIS OF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!! cpukey.txt – It'll read the first line of this file as CPUKey flashdmp.bin – It'll load this as source nand 😉 Default.xml – It'll load any preset settings from this file 😉 options.ini – It'll load any custom settings from this (for xeBuild) launch.ini – Settings for Dashlaunch, if you choose to use this setting it'll include this file in the built image 😉 What's new/fixed (v1.1): – Added: Function to prepare a USB memory stick for updating your console with the AVATAR support (Update downloader) – Fixed: Copying of Cygnos360 V2 SMC now works… – Fixed: Some Xenon SMC's didn't show previous hack properly… works now 😀 – Fixed: Sometimes the app will recognize your SMC as Cygnos whiles it's JTAG, the app will now show you it's JTAG if it can see that it's JTAG patched as well instead of fooling you by saying it's a cygnos 360 patch… – Changed: The app no longer asks if you want to clear the log after autosaving, instead it asks if...

xeBuild v1.00 (hotfix1)

After a lot of work, xeBuild brings together ggbuild (RGH) and fbbuild (JTAG) into a single application for building glitch, jtag and clean retail images with support for the new 14699 dash: What's New: * builds jtag/glitch/retail images * image type specifyer changed, specify -t on command line * all ini options are now available on the command line (no spaces allowed!) -patch append option, -o patchname via command line, see NOMU/NOFCRT below or about_patches.S for further info. Up to 16 files can be specified. * NOMU and NOFCRT patches are provided as optional patches, please use the -a flag on the command line (ie: -a nomu and/or -a nofcrt) if you want to use them, nomu disables jasper NAND memory unit, nofcrt will attempt to disable FCRT file (not needed if yours isn't corrupt) -nonandmu has been changed to nandmu so it's behavior is inverted * virtual fuses is no longer being pursued for glitch images as correct cpu key is already required to build working trinity images. They remain for JTAG images. Current Limitations: – STAY THE HELL OFF LIVE! Nuff said, we're not you're mum. 1.00 – hotfix – jtag images were being created with incorrect patch file number (xexp1 instead of xexp2) 1.00 – gets security files from nanddump.bin and verifies them (odd.bin is currently not processed) – option added to disable extracting security files from nanddump.bin – decrypts perbuild security files for verification (crl/dae only currently, updater files work too) – zero nonce data in bls before checking crc (inlcuded file lists updated with new crc and explanation) – fixed a bug with mobile extraction – fixed a bug with fsroot processing – (glitch) dynamic SMC patcher, no longer limited to hard coded hash/offsets – added more SMC hashes to verify known clean SMCs – will attempt to decrypt external encrypted smc.bin if needed...

Xbox 360 Fall 2011 Dash Update Final Version (2.0.14699.0)

From c4evaspeaks.com: After a slight delay, Microsoft has begun rolling out across all regions the final production version of its Xbox 360 Fall 2011 Dash Update  2.0.14699.0 remaining unchanged in number from the last Preview Program version released a few days ago. As usual with SystemUpdates, you are recommended to hold-off on updating until c4eva and the team have had a chance to properly analyze it, generate and check a set of LIVE logs, and report back on whether there are any changes affecting c4eva's firmwares. The version being unchanged from the last beta should help expedite this process, however. News-Source: c4evaspeaks.com...

360 Content Manager v2.1

Xamphear released a new version of 360 Content Manager for JTAG & RGH 360s: What This App Does: * Browse 360 files on your PC by their real info, like game name and package title. * Upload files (XBLA, DLC, GOD, Avatar, Title Update) to your console over FTP with a single click. Files are automatically uploaded to the right folders. * Drag and drop files to other applications, if you'd prefer to use your own FTP client. * Organize a messy folder of downloaded content into 1 of many different directory styles. Restore the original filenames for XBLA and DLC files. * View the MediaID of Title Updates and GODs so you can match them, and search JQE and XBUC for matching TUs. * View the MediaID of ISO files. (Requires abgx360) * View the MediaID of default.xex files. Advanced/Beta Features: * Scan the Content folder on your 360's HDD to a database so that while browsing content on your PC you can see if it's already on your 360 or not, even if your 360 is off. * Browse the contents of your 360 directly, using Freestyle Dashboard's SMB share technology. What's new/fixed: * Reads and displays actual Title Update version number, which is helpful since Microsoft has stopped making it part of the package title. "New" style TUs (ie: tu0000004_00000000) can be renamed using the content organizer, since the number in the filename is largely meaningless.
