abgx360 Gets a New Home

Our friends over at abgx360.net had a little trouble with their server and were hit with some hard downtime so we reached out to them and hooked them up with a spot on our server. Here is the sub domain location until the DNS resolves.

Hope that helps out :)

Back to work……

A short note to let our community know that we're back from our usual Summer hiatus so it's time to get back to work ready for the holiday shopping season starting October, historically the busiest time of year in the video game industry.

Minds are clear, refresh and rejuvenated. Let the games begin. Again.

Xecuter CR4 XL Is Finally Revealed

Completely redesigned method of glitching. 4x faster code than previous versions and booting is twice as fast as the fastest glitchers available – yes, including R-JTAG and Slim Proto. Incredibly stable – we glitched the worst boxes we could find in less than 3 cycles (even with Slim Proto or CR3 Pro they wouldn't boot AT ALL). 95% of boxes instaboot.
Not to mention this thing is now TINY !

We have also cracked the Corona v6 Winbond 2KB No-Glitch problem – this bad boy crushes it with no effort.

This is it ladies & gentleman. If you want the best in your 360, accept no substitute. If you are taking your box to a pro installer, demand a CR4. If you are a pro installer – we will make sure you get great bulk discounts – don't rip your customers off with crappy mods and charging them top dollar.

We expect this to be on sale late Summer 2014

Corona v6 with Winbond 2KB RAM – We now have Xell :)

As most of you know (or should know) there has been one particular Corona v6 (well, mainly v6 but we have seen some v4, v5 with this RAM too – very rare though) that could not be glitched at all. Ever. No matter what. The discovery of the the cause of this was initially a mystery so we setup a topic asking for the community to give their input where we finally nailed it down to Corona's that had the Winbond 2KB RAM.

The upcoming CR4 XL has been developed for a long time now to be the fastest, most stable and most powerful glitch device ever created. A completely new design that blows everything else out of the water and will indeed be our last 360 product. However even that couldn't glitch Coronas with Winbond 2KB and that is what we have been working on these last few weeks, pretty much non-stop.

Today I can confirm that we have Xell  A fantastic team effort as usual and in particular main credits for cracking this bitch go to RF1911, sk1080 & cOz

Also many thanks to Oggy and MartinC for testing this for us – they were the only guys who had these consoles with the skills to help us test the shit out of this problem

I will also confirm that this solution will not be tied to just the CR4 XL – it will be released so that every glitch device can use it. Call it a parting gift from Team Xecuter to the 360 scene.

Enjoy your weekend folks

Dash Launch 3.12 Released

A new version of Dash Launch has been released to allow support for 360 kernel version 16747

This version also includes some additions and bug fixes.

Xbox-Scene

ChangeLog

V3.12

  • default behaviour of live block is now to use strong block rules (at least until ini is loaded)
  • fix compatibility issues with dashes created before AP25 was deployed (spoof the AP functions on older versions)
  • limit fakelive/autofake to 14717+ kernels
  • add export so plugins can find out where they were loaded from during dllMain() (it's volatile, copy it in Main() if you need it!)
  • update 16547 patches to delay network bringup in xam until launch.xex loads
  • add trinity internal usb to hddkeepalive (for those that have a usb hdd hooked up there)
  • add 16747

Known Issues:

- *** WARNING ***One of the testers observed a console reaching out to live despite liveblock only when fakelive or autofake was enabled. If you intend a keyvault to not get banned, do not use it on a glitch/jtag machine!

  • Autologin pop-up blob does not display properly… live with it.

Currently the project is missing the following supported translations:

  • Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified, Chinese traditional

Currently supplied translations:

  • English, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish

The skin pack includes the sources used to skin dash launch as well as the string files if anyone wishes to create a translation to one of the above languages (including English, as I know my explanations are not always easy to understand.) Also included is a c# based editor for the string files to assist in translation.

External fonts, background image and skins may be used by this, simply place skin.xzp and/or font.ttf and/or background.png (1020×720) beside default.xex. If neither location has a font file supplied the system font on flash will be used.

Overview

  • It will launch a XeX or CON file from the path you specified in launch.ini as long as it's valid
  • Depending on the button you hold when the xbox is trying to load the NXE, it will divert to the xex/con tied to that button or return to default as defined in launch.ini
  • At boot time it is possible to subvert default item and/or NXE loading, but you must wait until the controller syncs to do so
  • Depending which button is held when closing miniblade in NXE (use Y button to close, release then hold a QL button) it will quick launch a CON or XEX from your ini file allows one to patch kernel/xam at bootup with a freeBOOT patch style bin file from usb or hdd (in that order) must be in root of the device and be named "kxam.patch" and be no larger than 0x4000 bytes.
  • Again, kxam.patch binary format is the same as a compiled freeboot patch bin, but uses real virtual addresses rather than offsets - as of 2.22 the first 32bit value must instead be the version of the kernel the patches apply to - with the included patch set,
  • launch.xex acts as a helper to detect when xbox1 emulator loads, allowing memory unlock patch and xbox1 emulator to function together

Multiplayer and Party Updates for Xbox One Coming in March

I have been given some inside information that the update is coming on March 4th so I guess we will wait and see :)

Since we first launched Xbox One, we have been thrilled to see our fans spending millions of hours on Xbox Live. Your enthusiasm reinforces our commitment to making Xbox One and Xbox Live the best place for gamers and entertainment fans. This week marks a big week for Xbox One as we will start to roll out our first product update for Xbox One. As previously shared, this update offers many new improvements – including lots of behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games for Xbox One, several new features we believe Xbox fans will love, stability and product updates to improve the customer experience, and continuous improvements to the quality of Kinect voice so commands become more fluid and responsive over time. This is step one on our journey and commitment to deliver continuous innovation to Xbox One customers.

Xbox One is a platform designed to offer the best games and entertainment experience and we are committed to delivering more and more features to our customers.  While we’re thrilled to launch the February update this week, we’re already looking ahead to March. We’ve prided ourselves on having the best multiplayer service for Xbox 360 and we’ve listened to your feedback about the features you want to see on Xbox One and Xbox Live. We’ve heard your feedback and the team has been working overtime to deliver updates that will significantly improve the multiplayer and party experience on Xbox One.  Here are more details on what’s coming for parties and multiplayer in March:

  • Get to your friends list faster. The friends list will be front and center on the homepage of the Friends app. Click the Social tile on Home, or say “Xbox, go to Friends” to see who’s online and what they’re up to. From there you can quickly send messages and get into a party.
  • Party chat will be turned on by default. When you party up, chat audio will be turned on by default.
  • Chat with friends playing different games. Party chat will be separated from people playing your game, so you can chat with your friends who are online or you can chat with everyone playing the game.
  • We’re adding an “Invite friends to game” option to your multiplayer titles moving forward. Similar to Xbox 360 titles, this will appear inside a games’ menu and offer a simple and quicker way to set up your multiplayer battles. Selecting “Invite friends” will let you invite friends to your game and party.
  • We’re adding “Recent Players.” This is a simple list that shows you Xbox Live members you’ve recently played with, making it easier to stay in touch with people, or add new friends after your multiplayer battles.

Our March Xbox One system update will start rolling out in early March. We’re excited to get these multiplayer and party improvements out in time for the March 11 launch of “Titanfall,” the highly anticipated team-based online multiplayer game.

The March update includes many more great features. The improvements to multiplayer and parties are just a few of the features that will be included, and we’ll continue to share more details in the days and weeks ahead, including in-depth videos so you’re all ready to take advantage of the new features in March. We’re lucky to have a passionate community that shares feedback. Thanks for helping us make Xbox One even better.

Xbox 360 Emulator Research Project "Xenia"

Ben Vanik has begun work on an Xbox 360 Emulator. Currently, it does nothing but some XEX print outs, but the immense amount of time and research put into this project is amazing and shows that 2014 will be a great year for 360 emulation.

If you have a GitHub account, you can star this REPO and watch as development progresses. Its open source, as you probably guessed. Whats even more interesting is that Ben's previous jobs include working at Google and Microsoft.

The goal of this project is to experiment, research, and educate on the topic of emulation of modern devices and operating systems. It is not for enabling illegal activity. All information is obtained via reverse engineering of legally purchased devices and games and information made public on the internet (you'd be surprised what's indexed on Google)- Ben Vanik

It's out in early March.

CronusMAX Gtuner v2.16 – Introducing GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI)

Thanks to the guys at CronusMAX, we have been playing with this update all day and have to say it is really kickass. I mean REALLY good. Beats any other cross gaming / rapidfire / scripting hands down.

Check the new update out – it's live now at www.cronusmax.com

Introducing the new Gtuner GamePack Configuration Interface (or GCI)

The one major caveat to using our awesome GamePacks was that there are so many options and so many configurations available to you, but you have to use the controller player 1,2,3,4 LED's to configure each GamePack and this could be a tiresome process with many users failing to explore the full potential of the GamePack options.

Naturally we have been using it this way for so long that for us and other experienced users it was simply a case of a few minutes setup after knowing all of the classes and modes off by heart, but of course this doesn't help new users or those who simply want to get into it but just can't figure it out.

Then came along the XBOX ONE controller. No Player LED's. Wait, what?

The solution given to users was to first hook up the Xbox One controller to a computer and run the Gtuner Device Monitor to view the emulated Player 1,2,3,4 LED's while setting up the GamePack classes and modes. What's that you say? Worst solution ever? We agree.

So our developers locked themselves into a bunker for the last few weeks to come up with a solution that would not only help Xbox One controller users but would also help any GamePack user with any controller.

We came up with the GamePack Configuration Interface – or GCI for short.

Now for each GamePack, when you load it to a profile slot you click on the Profile number which is now a button and you will see a pop window showing all of the possible settings and options for that particular GamePack. Not only can you select the options but you can now also adjust specific values such as RapidFire rate, QuickScope sensitivity timings, Fast Reload timings and much, much more.

We have also updated the COD: GHOSTS GamePack to v1.1 – This GamePack is where the GCI really shows off

No longer need to use controller LED's, no more button mashing to scroll through class menus or mode settings, no more guesswork. Instant, on-the-fly setup of your favorite GamePacks. If you thought the CM was great before – this should blow you away (or whoever you a shooting at).

CHANGELOG

2013-01-14, Gtuner v2.16

  • Added Brand New GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI)
The GCI gives you the ability to quickly setup your GamePack without having to scroll through dozens of LED combinations. This is especially advantagous for Xbox One Controller GamePack Support as there are no Player 1,2,3,4 LED's like with the Xbox 360 & PS3/PS4 Controllers so you can now change to all different classes of modes with the need for LED's or guesswork!
  • Ability to fine-tune Rapidfire on the fly without LED's or guesswork.
  • Ability to fine-tune Fast Reload without LED's or guesswork.
  • Ability to fine-tune Quick Scope Timing without LED's or guesswork.
  • Documentation Updates (GamePack CFG, Call of Duty:Ghosts, MaxAim:Finding Game DeadZone)
  • The Gtuner online library banner no longer refreshes itself every 60 seconds.

2013-01-14, Call of Duty: Ghost Game Pack Update 1.1

  • Added new Quick Scope options
  • 01: Quick Scope: TAP [To fire a Quick Scope shot, quickly TAP your scope button (less than 140 ms tap)]
  • 02: Quick Scope: Press Sensitivity [Same as 01 but the Quick Scope is activated when the scope (ADS) button is FULLY pressed in less than 300 ms]
  • 03: Quick Scope: Fully Auto [Same as 01 but the Quick Scope is activated every time the scope (ADS) button is pressed. In this mode it is not possible to zoom in on enemies]
