Xecuter Forum Database Stolen

We recently moved to a new server and stupidly left our backend open for an easy attack which has now been fixed.

Luckily the guys who gained access left their muddy prints all over the place so it was easy to clean up. What we did find out was more interesting. Who did it, why they did it.

If you want a quality hack, use someone who isn't going to leave their signature all over the place and take 5 minutes to find out who they are and have half their team rat out the other half. In short – don't hire these guys for the job: http://xbl.services http://refaced.org

For the last 12 years our community of 282,000+ members have always had the security of knowing that we have never used their information for any purpose other than to be part of the Xecuter community. You will now be pleased to hear these group of hackers tried to steal the accounts to various high level staff and admin of the se7ensins community, who are also part of the Xecuter community, so they came in to grab our entire database. Hackers have been trying to do this for years and this weekend succeeded due to a stupid failure on our part to button up a few holes in our backed after we moved to a new server, making it easier for lesser skilled individuals.

If you have an account with us you can now assume that your email and password is now in their possession. We highly recommend you change your password here on the Xecuter forums and if you use the password anywhere else that you change it too – there is a maximum probability that it is now, or will be in the very near future compromised. No passwords are stored in clear text of course, they are all hashed but we are very skilled in this area and know there are ways around this so we can only assume they know the same tricks that we do so it is only a matter of time. These guys attempted to install a crappy keylogger too, it didn't work of course, it was a mess so no worries there.

We're not sure who to reach out to at se7ensins but i'm sure this will no doubt reach their ears in good time.

Beware of www.the-gamers-world.de !

If you are in Germany and are looking to have your 360 modded DO NOT send it to anyone at www.the-gamers-world.de – the guy who runs it is a complete sham. He is buying $2 chips and charging 50 Euros and has absolutely no idea what he is doing – probably the most incompetent installer we have ever come across. He will try to dazzle you with utter nonsense, believe us when we say he is utterly clueless and will do anything to cut any corner he can to squeeze as much money from the customer as humanely possible.

After 2 weeks of trying to figure out how a CR4 worked this was the excuse he gave after trying to tell everyone who was helping him that the CR4 were faulty

Please understand, that we reseller cannot afford to understand everything and read all etc..

Stay away from this guy – spend your money with someone who knows their trade, there are many fine installers in Germany. This guy will simply rip you off – you have been warned!

CR4 XL – The Reviews Are In

We will let the users do the talking…..

CR4 XL is the perfect solution, only 5 wires, only 1 post this CR4XL is balls quick! Definately worth the wait. My only critcism is that there is no challenge. So if you are looking for a challenge, maybe this isn't the chip for you – Taijigamer2

Falcons on RGH2+ work just fine I have already done two Falcons with RGH2+ and got them down to instaboots consistently! – ChaseResolute

Received my 1st CR4 XL today and just finished installing it and well what can i say instaboot. I used the v3 QSB and the v3 post QSB. One pulse and up to dash, awesome – tomma66

Well straight out of the box this console booted straight up with just all the standard settings, without any messing i would say pretty damn impressive. Jeez this is easy, no messing about much here !!!! Played with caps to get more consistancy and have settled on a 22pf and all is great, very impressed with CR4 – Utmad

Fantastic very easy to install and perfect the boot times on Corona 1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1 – daman10

This is by far the best chip on the market i needed no tweeking to get a near on instaboot 100% of the time r-jtag+ cr4 xl jasper. this is the chip i know i will be using for all of my future installs – scott1503

This console has had several diff chips (CR3, RGX, Proto v2, Sqt 2.0) in it because I was trying to find something that Would boot fast and consistent. I spent alot of time tuning the different chips and it would boot great one time and the next would be awful. I finally put the RGX back into it and was just going to deal with it because it seemed to boot the best. But then TX announced the CR4. This chip is Amazing & Boots Fast, if you have a stubborn console this is the one to get. Thx TX!! Rater Results: 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1,1, 2, 1 – morinzo

This thing is f***in awesome and I dont wanna give this box back to the customer. THIS is how a Rjtag+ install should boot when you are done. It's the titties – XDK

Ok the history of this console is a ruff one. It has always been an extremly stubborn corona. Its had a cr3, rgx, and a proto in it at one time and although it booted nicely with a ton of tweaking its booting was pretty speratic. At times it would glitch really well and then out of nowhere it would be off the wall. Until i put a cr4 in it of course :-D Im getting all 1s 99% of the time and a 2 very rarely. It really is crazy how good this chip is. Nice work TX! – jligg

Update to previous review: So i got bored and decided to spend some time tweaking to really see what this thing can do. I moved the postbit jumper to the center and changed to a 10pf cap..I have been booting it constantly for 2 days and all instant glitch..couldnt get a 2 if i tried! Amazing chip this is – jligg

I am very impressed with the performance of the CR4. This console doesn't have the best boot times right now but I am pretty sure if I stop being such a lazy ass I can get instant boots out of it – steveo1978

After so much trouble with the Trinity…finally a success install…awesome products from TEAM X…woOt woOt… – butowood

By far the easiest install of all the high end glitch mods xecuter has come up with.you guys should be very proud of this thing.it was def worth the loooong wait! have done 2 trinitys so far today, both with excellent results. I may even make this the only chip i offer to install anymore. It's really too universal not to right? pretty much just used basic settings, really felt no need to rater it, as it boots 1-2 cycles (1 more often than 2). rater? wtf needs that? – nofeloniesyet

I have not fine tuned this at all yet. I will hook up rater tomorrow to test more. But for a RGH2+ Falcon I am pretty happy with the results. It's 1 -2 glitch's everytime – metalfan

This was by far the easiest console I have ever done. The only thing I changed from the original guide was the postbit jumper. I get instant boots nearly 90% of the time and sometimes 2 glitches. The CR4 kicks ass! – NateMods

I finally got my CR4 and installed it in a 4GB Corona V2. It boots in 1-2 cycles. Thank you TX for a great chip, it certainly doesn't disappoint! – jdoe91011

I had to use 1,8 and I'm getting 1,1,1,1,2 rater times. So far really liking this new CR4 – kordris

This thing (cr4 xl) should be called CR FLASH. Because its the fastest thing alive! Its fast all around. fast and easy to install and fast glitching! A++ to everybody involved. Thank you!!!!!!!!!! – playingmax

Didn't want to mess with the ppl bypass, so decided to do a rgh2+ install – Jasper 512Mb INSTABOOT !! – lenselijer

Demon install was really straightforward and the cr4 xl works out of the box, this was the first console i have ever RGH'd and i have to thank mr johnny guns for his tutorials – ins0mniac

So far this console is booting up on the FIRST GLITCH EVERY TIME. I have not used rater, as I see no need to tune this any further. It just doesn't get any better than this! – Game_Over

This system Performed terribly even with CR3 Pro and hours to tweaking so we waited for the CR4. Wow was it worth the wait 95% 1st Glitch 5% 2nd – Dracothic

This is my first install and very happy with the chip. Instant boot times, tested with Rater. QSB is also very handy – lenselijer

It's not just that it's the fastest out there, it will boot stubborn hard to glitch consoles that no other device can, with absolute rock solid stability. We also haven't finished yet…..

Dash Launch 3.12 Released

A new version of Dash Launch has been released to allow support for 360 kernel version 16747

This version also includes some additions and bug fixes.

Xbox-Scene

ChangeLog

V3.12

  • default behaviour of live block is now to use strong block rules (at least until ini is loaded)
  • fix compatibility issues with dashes created before AP25 was deployed (spoof the AP functions on older versions)
  • limit fakelive/autofake to 14717+ kernels
  • add export so plugins can find out where they were loaded from during dllMain() (it's volatile, copy it in Main() if you need it!)
  • update 16547 patches to delay network bringup in xam until launch.xex loads
  • add trinity internal usb to hddkeepalive (for those that have a usb hdd hooked up there)
  • add 16747

Known Issues:

- *** WARNING ***One of the testers observed a console reaching out to live despite liveblock only when fakelive or autofake was enabled. If you intend a keyvault to not get banned, do not use it on a glitch/jtag machine!

  • Autologin pop-up blob does not display properly… live with it.

Currently the project is missing the following supported translations:

  • Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified, Chinese traditional

Currently supplied translations:

  • English, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish

The skin pack includes the sources used to skin dash launch as well as the string files if anyone wishes to create a translation to one of the above languages (including English, as I know my explanations are not always easy to understand.) Also included is a c# based editor for the string files to assist in translation.

External fonts, background image and skins may be used by this, simply place skin.xzp and/or font.ttf and/or background.png (1020×720) beside default.xex. If neither location has a font file supplied the system font on flash will be used.

Overview

  • It will launch a XeX or CON file from the path you specified in launch.ini as long as it's valid
  • Depending on the button you hold when the xbox is trying to load the NXE, it will divert to the xex/con tied to that button or return to default as defined in launch.ini
  • At boot time it is possible to subvert default item and/or NXE loading, but you must wait until the controller syncs to do so
  • Depending which button is held when closing miniblade in NXE (use Y button to close, release then hold a QL button) it will quick launch a CON or XEX from your ini file allows one to patch kernel/xam at bootup with a freeBOOT patch style bin file from usb or hdd (in that order) must be in root of the device and be named "kxam.patch" and be no larger than 0x4000 bytes.
  • Again, kxam.patch binary format is the same as a compiled freeboot patch bin, but uses real virtual addresses rather than offsets - as of 2.22 the first 32bit value must instead be the version of the kernel the patches apply to - with the included patch set,
  • launch.xex acts as a helper to detect when xbox1 emulator loads, allowing memory unlock patch and xbox1 emulator to function together

Multiplayer and Party Updates for Xbox One Coming in March

I have been given some inside information that the update is coming on March 4th so I guess we will wait and see :)

Since we first launched Xbox One, we have been thrilled to see our fans spending millions of hours on Xbox Live. Your enthusiasm reinforces our commitment to making Xbox One and Xbox Live the best place for gamers and entertainment fans. This week marks a big week for Xbox One as we will start to roll out our first product update for Xbox One. As previously shared, this update offers many new improvements – including lots of behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games for Xbox One, several new features we believe Xbox fans will love, stability and product updates to improve the customer experience, and continuous improvements to the quality of Kinect voice so commands become more fluid and responsive over time. This is step one on our journey and commitment to deliver continuous innovation to Xbox One customers.

Xbox One is a platform designed to offer the best games and entertainment experience and we are committed to delivering more and more features to our customers.  While we’re thrilled to launch the February update this week, we’re already looking ahead to March. We’ve prided ourselves on having the best multiplayer service for Xbox 360 and we’ve listened to your feedback about the features you want to see on Xbox One and Xbox Live. We’ve heard your feedback and the team has been working overtime to deliver updates that will significantly improve the multiplayer and party experience on Xbox One.  Here are more details on what’s coming for parties and multiplayer in March:

  • Get to your friends list faster. The friends list will be front and center on the homepage of the Friends app. Click the Social tile on Home, or say “Xbox, go to Friends” to see who’s online and what they’re up to. From there you can quickly send messages and get into a party.
  • Party chat will be turned on by default. When you party up, chat audio will be turned on by default.
  • Chat with friends playing different games. Party chat will be separated from people playing your game, so you can chat with your friends who are online or you can chat with everyone playing the game.
  • We’re adding an “Invite friends to game” option to your multiplayer titles moving forward. Similar to Xbox 360 titles, this will appear inside a games’ menu and offer a simple and quicker way to set up your multiplayer battles. Selecting “Invite friends” will let you invite friends to your game and party.
  • We’re adding “Recent Players.” This is a simple list that shows you Xbox Live members you’ve recently played with, making it easier to stay in touch with people, or add new friends after your multiplayer battles.

Our March Xbox One system update will start rolling out in early March. We’re excited to get these multiplayer and party improvements out in time for the March 11 launch of “Titanfall,” the highly anticipated team-based online multiplayer game.

The March update includes many more great features. The improvements to multiplayer and parties are just a few of the features that will be included, and we’ll continue to share more details in the days and weeks ahead, including in-depth videos so you’re all ready to take advantage of the new features in March. We’re lucky to have a passionate community that shares feedback. Thanks for helping us make Xbox One even better.

Xbox 360 Emulator Research Project "Xenia"

Ben Vanik has begun work on an Xbox 360 Emulator. Currently, it does nothing but some XEX print outs, but the immense amount of time and research put into this project is amazing and shows that 2014 will be a great year for 360 emulation.

If you have a GitHub account, you can star this REPO and watch as development progresses. Its open source, as you probably guessed. Whats even more interesting is that Ben's previous jobs include working at Google and Microsoft.

The goal of this project is to experiment, research, and educate on the topic of emulation of modern devices and operating systems. It is not for enabling illegal activity. All information is obtained via reverse engineering of legally purchased devices and games and information made public on the internet (you'd be surprised what's indexed on Google)- Ben Vanik
