Xecuter CK3 Probe v2 – The First No Solder Liteon Solution

After the amazing success of our LT Switch solution, we are pleased to launch the latest addition to the CK3 family of products – the FIRST complete NO SOLDER solution for the newer Liteon DVD drives – the CK3 Probe v2. This is targeted to installers who require a multi-use no solder solution to the new Liteon drives – or to the users who simply don’t have the skills to solder our cheaper LT switch alternative.

Still retaining the original CK3 Probe function of dumping the 74850 key, but now also enabling full firmware access of the new 83850V2 and 93450 drives – you can easily switch between PROBE and LT Switch Modes – A complete all-in-one solderless solution !

– Liteon 74850 – No Cuts Required – No Rebuild PCB Required. Switch to original CK3 Probe Function for DVD Key Extraction
– Liteon 83850V2 – 3 Small Trace Cuts (Same as LT Switch) – No Rebuild PCB Required. Special Conductive Glue supplied with kit to easily repair the cuts (Enough for at least 10 DVD Drives) – No Soldering !
– Liteon 93450 – 3 Small Trace Cuts (Same as LT Switch) – No Rebuild PCB Required. Special Conductive Glue supplied with kit to easily repair the cuts (Enough for at least 10 DVD Drives) – No Soldering !

Installers can use this again and again and again and again – No rebuild boards – no soldering – NO PROBLEM !

The CK3 Probe 2 connects to both the CK3 Lite and CK3 Pro connectivity kits and includes full status LED’s and an extra protection circuit against accidental shortages on the DVD PCB.

Resellers: ModTraders.co.uk

Stock is expected to ship within 2 weeks (Would have been this week as this has been designed and finished for a couple of weeks but it’s Chinese New Year). RRP $17.95

Will be still needed to cut?

  2. Xecuter says:

Yes still need to do the cuts – but we are providing a specially commissioned conductive glue kit so you can easily repair the traces with no soldering. The glue is usually very expensive to buy but we have done a special deal (had to buy a LOT) lol – there is enough to do about 10 DVD units :)

  3. akirafilm says:

need wires to? or just the glue?

    Thanks

Xecuter: No wires. No Rebuild PCB – just the small cuts and special conductive glue to repair.

    Wait a minute…
    Stupid Question… -_-
THis will work with my new Lite On 93450C right? I saw the 93450 but not the C.
2 months trying to hack my 360 and it hasn’t happened yet….

Xecuter: There is only one 93450 model so yes – we just don’t bother noting the letter C.

  5. captainboo says:

sorry for the noob question but is there any way this probe will work with blaster ck3?

Xecuter: This is actually a good question. We will look at make a cable to convert it to work on the Blaster CK3

  6. naser075 says:

Can you please tell me if I can use this with the ck3 pro ? anything I have to update in using this

Xecuter: It says in the product description it works with the CK3 Pro and CK3 Lite.

  7. orfin2 says:

without soldering – it is cut only, or with wire and resistor with switch soldering?

Xecuter: Cut Only – as it says in the product description.

i have CK pro kit with V1 probe so this is a must have for me :P

just want to say a big THANx to Xecuter, and the team as well for such quality merchandise and much help when needed.

    TO: Xecuter
i have flashed many drives in several diff ways, my question is how hard is it to cut these traces? i know you cant cut right thru them but if my hand is gentle and easy is it really that hard?

Xecuter: It’s really easy to do. Its even easier if you have a Dremel knocking around somewhere :)

  11. Merlin744 says:

I am OH soooooooo excited to get my hands on one of these things. if there was a pre-order, I’d buy in right away!

Anyways, my question is this: is there any chance that I can order one of these new probes with like…. 4 or 5x as much conductive glue ? I plan on using this system a LOT……… and if you can get me a good price on the glue, I would LOVE to get as much as possible!

If not….. can you point me to where I could buy the glue by itself? or at least tell me what kind of glue we’re talking about, specifically? a brand name at least? thanks :P

Xecuter: The glue will also be sold separately :)

  12. Healio says:

Hey so since you bought so much of that glue I take you’ll be selling replacement supplies? =)

    Xecuter: Yes of course :)

  13. Merlin744 says:

OK, so I actually did find a place to pre-order it from. and based in the USA, too! AWESOME! Now to my second question…. could you reveal what kind of thermal glue I’ll need to be buying? or is thermal glue just a generic thing that I can pick up at any ol hardware store..? thx!

Xecuter: You should read the product description again – we include it in the package :)

  14. abid_123 says:

When is this product going to become available in online shops like Modtraders. I really want to buy this item but its not released.

Xecuter: In the next couple of weeks. We are waiting on the conductive glue shipment.

  15. abid_123 says:

What is the conductive glue for?

Xecuter: To repair the traces. Of course.

  16. Indie says:

Just to be clear, this requires purchasing the CK3 Lite or CK3 Pro as well, correct?

    Xecuter: Correct
