THESE ARE THE OFFICIAL XECUTER DRIVERS FOR NAND-X. THEY ARE COMPATIBLE WITH ALL VERSIONS OF NANDPRO INCLUDING V3. USE THESE AND NO OTHERS WITH XECUTER NAND-X.

This driver pack for NAND-X includes NAND PRO v2.0d and all the Windows drivers you need (both x86 and x64).

http://team-xecuter.com/nandpro_20d_drivers.rar

Then use the tutorial for dumping your NAND and also Flashing Xell and Freeboot.

Step by Step Instructions On How To Install Nand-X Drivers

These examples show the drivers being installed on a Windows 7 machine. The process is pretty much the same on XP and Vista - both 32bit and 64 bit.

1. Goto Windows Device Manager. Plug in the Nand-X via USB. You will see a device called "MemoryAccess"

2. Right Click on 'MemoryAccess" and select "Update Driver Software..."
http://www.team-xecuter.com/nandx_pics/drivers/2.png

3. Select "Browse My Computer For Driver Software" - It may say something different in XP or Vista - just choose the manual option and not the auto option.

4. Select the folder where you unpacked the drivers that you downloaded. The example shows they are on the C drive in the nandpro_20d_drivers folder. make sure the sub folders box is ticked.

5. If you see this warning sign just select "Install This Driver Software Anyway"
http://www.team-xecuter.com/nandx_pics/drivers/5.png

6. Success. Simple wasn't it ?

7. Once installed correctly this is how the Nand-X is listed in Device Manager.

It works fine on mine. Try restarting your PC and remember that you're using the x64 drivers.

I know this is old but check in your Windows/system32 folder for a file called ptlibusb0

You will see this is in Capitals...... Delete it and it will work fine.

I had the same problem now and was pulling my hair out for 10 mins.

Does this pack of drivers work for 86 n 64 bits?

Forget it, it does work for both, then i guess my problem is with my soldering, it pops out "could not detect a flash controller" :(, checking my soldering points :P

Having awful issues getting this to work followed steps to the letter and still wont work I am getting the same message as the person posted prior to this. at this point I would be happy to get cannot detect flash controller instead i get cannot find usb device. I have already had the drivers on here before deleted when nand x failed.

Edit: Got it to work

For RGH, v3 is going to be required.

Where are the correct drivers? Are they in the Nandpro v3 package here :http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost.php?p=464020&postcount=1

the v3 drivers in the nandpro v3 archive do not work with the nand-x you have to use the drivers in this thread.

Download the DLL from here (http://www.dlldll.com/getdll/10194.html) and drop it into NandPro's directory.

Not sure if this is the right thread for my question but was wondering if i have this right, I've installed my drivers and my nand x works fine for updating my coolrunner chip also worked fine to update to nandproV3.0 but for some reason it will not read my nand and wanted to know if i have something missing so my question is,

Do i need winusb.dll to read the nand ? I looked everywhere in my system files and for some reason this file seems to be missing and am wondering if this might be my problem because i have everything else set up fine and all soldering seems fine and i tried re-soldering my nand x cable but all seems good just wont detect through coolsrimp app

I was having issues with my nandx so I uninstalled the drivers and was going to reinstall them as well as reprogram it so that it is compatible with the RGH. When I try to reinstall the drivers it says "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date" even though it still shows as "Memory Access" and the device status says

"This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

Driver is not intended for this platform.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver"

Any ideas?

Thank you for expaining that step so elegantly. I use a 32-bit windows xp virtual computer with my Nand-x. So I just disable the nand-x in the windows 7 device manager and attach it to the virtual one. I find it to be super stable in that enviroment, while allowing me 64-bit win7 doing other stuff.

Cheers!

Hey there.

I'm on my mobile so I can't search for you right now but when you use the search function off the board and just search for "Nand X , Windows 8" you'll find a thread where disabling the driver signature is explained. Cause that changed on Windows 8! Two ways there are on just for use it once or permanently.

Then you take the usual win 7 drivers and they will work :-)

Greets Seb.

Try following this (http://team-xecuter.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=8).

I'm not 100% certain, but I think you need to enable test mode and then install the drivers.

DSEO doesn't work with Windows 8.

Just disable DSE on startup.

Sorry but this is a TX support forum. Non-TX products are not supported here. Although since you can't find TX shit anywhere I will tell you that the driver for the NAND-X is included in the download for J-Runner.
