ftp cant find bios folder

ive ballsed up flashing mybios with 1957 bios, it gets half way and stops and fails . ive seen u can get into an admin folder via ftp and just replace bios and delete ones that u dont need but where is this folder all i get is c d e f etc. any one know and just to make sure should switches be top2 to the right and bottom 3 to left

you've got the switches right try downloading the bios again and then reflashing leaving the switches EXACTLY how they are:

first two to the right and the rest to the left

Just FTP the BIOS to the Root of you C, E, F or G Drive. You don't place the BIOS in a folder, just leave it it in the Root of th Drive. Then access X3 Menu, access the Bios Section and choose the flash from HD option.. Select Drive letter, then located the Bios file from the List, and then select the banks to flash too. Simple as pie.. =^_^=

cant boot into evox at all now all banks just switch xbox on for a second ten off then back on 4 a second then off then back on where it hangs on a blank screen and stays on.

to be honest you should just flash your bios from the x3 bios menu

Hi all ive flashed loads of boxes most of the bans seem to be with the BENQ drive some with latest firmware 1.61 and some with 1.6

Liteons seem to be ok at the moment, both parties are playing the same burned media run through abgx360 burned with imgburn

so is the BENQ less secure than the liteon or is it sending some info that it should'nt be ??

Ive helped out a lot of friends on flashing their drives and Ive only had one banned. Damn LiteOn, hope it burns in hell!!!

all drives, all models, all boxes are affected. Its the software that got assigned to the xbox to block the HD also scans the firmware changes

dont agree they seem to be fairly random who gets banned i got banned 18 months ago with the nme chip and so far so good

benq's that ive flashed are going down fast
