X360 SLIM LT+ Info/ETA (READ BEFORE ASKING)

Well, since the impatient ones are obnoxiously increasing, with them the common "What's the slim LT+ ETA?" question is increasing as well, I thought I'd make this thread to put it all in one place for you.

Drives discovered in the Slim:

Lite-On 9504
Lite-On 0225
Hitachi 0500

C4eva is currently working full-time on the slim, what his progress is, we don't know, as far as we know the 9504 will get the firmware first.

Which motherboad is in your Slim:

Vejle A.K.A. Valhalla.
Up until now, the only motherboards reported in the Slim are Vejle/Valhalla motherboards.

How to tell which drive is in your Slim:



If it's a Lite-On and you bought it before the end of June 2010, then it's probably a 9504. However there is no way to tell for sure what your drive is unless you disassemble your Slim and check for yourself.
NEW REPORTS:Well, more than 5 people have reported fake firmware numbers on their drives, so I think to be 100% you gotta run it through JungleFlasher.

New way to find out approximately which drive you will get while purchasing (Credits for this method go to Ubergeek, if you were helped by it please go to his thread and give him proper thanks and credits)

The image below showed us that the drive should be an Hitachi 0500 - and after purchasing - IT WAS !

• 11XXX All 0225
• 104XX Mix of 9504 and 0225. Mostly 0225. High Probability that a 9504 is a mislabeled 0225
• 103XX Mix of 9504 and 0225 - mostly 9504
• 102XX All 9504
• 101XX All 9504
• 104X All 9504

Another method is by the serial number on the label (thanks to kiwi1hu). The 4th Digital on the end can also give an indication as to what the drive is (again not 100% but results have shown a very high probability - post your LOT# and Serial# results too)

• 2: 9504
• 3: 0225
• 4 or 0: 0500 Hitachi

Hitachi 0500 have been found in very small numbers in lots 1052X, 1048X, 1047X, 1045X, 1044X, 1028X (EU)

The only way to be 100% sure is to hook your drive up to the latest Jungle Flasher and see what the model / firmware version is.

What you need to flash your Slim:

(Please notice, you don't need to buy the products mentioned in that chart, however those products will make the process easier & faster)

Thank you to the creator of the thread.
It makes the likes of my life much easier and i know am safe in the knowlege that i am going to pre order the right kit.

they are planning to increase disk size and increase Anti-Piracy! LT+ for slim even released till yet! If ever C4eva put his hands on hacking xgd3 then we have to wait for more than 2 month and even bad news for 0225 owners what the hell!? Hi, thanks for the informative post. I already have the X360USB Pro and i was under the impression that i could power up the drive using the 360 (as i did with a phat 360 years ago) but it seems it's no longer the case. Why doesn't the drive power up with the xbox while connected to the X360USB Pro or does it power up and i am missing something?

My drive is stock and i am not trying to flash it (also i can't since it's 0225) but the reason i bought the X360USB Pro was to see if i could somehow use it to revive the drive (my xbox out of the blue started booting up with a flashing middle green button and the drive doesn't open, it is completely stock and has never been touched).
