Hi,

nice to see xecuter react swiftly.
Now i just got my slim qsb last week and havent built in the coolrunner, what am i suppost to do with the qsb now?

the slim qsb that you have is nothing to do with this qsb.

have you looked at the install diags yet ?

its for the other 2 wires that dont go to the current slim qsb

Just out of curiosity, whist you were doing this, how exactly did you place the wire each time? (coiled etc)

if you create a little template like this

Cut theses wires like this & write them down on a paper
with how many inches they are then Tape the wire to the paper. I found this helpful to me. took me like 5 minutes to figure out what worked best for my machine.

like this 10 inches then tape wire to the right of that.

Sizes - below - Also if your like 4-5 seconds before it boots maybe try in between these below subtracting a half inch.
if the next size makes it worse.

29cm / 11.41 Inches

32cm / 12.59 inches

35cm / 13.77 inches

38cm / 14.96 inches

41cm / 16.14 inches

47cm / 18.50 inches

50cm / 19.68 inches

52cm / 20.55 inches

now you can try shorter or longer by about ONE inch. or can try in between these by a half inch if you like.

As I found mine around 47cm/18.50 Inches boots in 1-3 seconds - Ideal is 1-3 seconds dont get much better then that. One green Blink from cool runner & if you have a flash drive installed it will start to blink & you know its booting. On my system if the flash drive didn't blink after one green blink from cool runner then I shut off system & tried next size wire.

Each Wire was Coiled in same place, added a slim piece of tape, out side the hole then 3-4 more to make a circle then one more near solder point, thats it.

Tried on 2 systems & both were very close to same wire.

Any news on when the TX CPU_RST PCB will be "in stores"? I would like to wait with my two slims until I can get this if it will not take very very long to receive them.

I would just measure wire to the sizes then add the size of each wire, below or to the right of it on paper then add a small piece of tape to hold the wire in place, till you use it.

......Pretend the paper is below......

29CM / 11.41 Inches - Wire ----------- Wire

the other sizes in between these

50CM / 19.68 Inches - Wire ------------------- Wire

From the images , pads 0-7 are to the 'band' of points where the yellow wire was soldered and pad '3' is the correct pin. I am sure someone at Team Xecuter will confirm this soon
