Re: Another alternate STBY_CLK for SLIM
i will tell the shop to give me a copy of my nand and cpu key on a usb stick.
i somewhere actually read that you can read write nand but it takes long on this forum.
I dont want to read write nand if i dont have to, all want to update my CR with it.
"Fully compatible with iMPACT software and tested 100% with various Xilinx products that have a JTAG port including the Xecuter CoolRunner.
Comes complete with an Xecuter CK3 custom power cable for the Xecuter CoolRunner while updating over LPT."
I doubt i need to read write nand each time i want to make an complete update of my coolrunner
Please advice me on the slim qsbLast edited by cassinni; 19th February 12 at 19:45.

Re: Another alternate STBY_CLK for SLIM
But when you installed the coolrunner rhg and the nandx were invented

You more and more sound like a salesman
I'll see i will first try it without buying a nandx.
in your previous thread where you solder all cables under the board..does this also work with the slim qsb installed or will there be too much wires for the hdd bay?

You do realize if you ever have a bad flash not having a way to write to the nand directly with a pc will have you finding someone else to do it for you? Costing you more money? Bad flashes happen all the time. Or you do an update with the wrong ldv.
The comfort of being able to open your console plug in nandx and fix any fault due to some type of bad flash is worth every penny.
I don't use qsb cause I can solder. If I was having someone else do it I would have qsb installed and a nandx put up just encase something bad happens.
