Recycling Coolrunners?

Ive got a few coolrunner that have been used on other xboxs to get the dvd key. Is there anyway to reuse them?

yes u can use a coolrunner as many times you want on different consoles.

You sure can!

All you have to do is program it with the right timing file (XSVF/JED) for the Xbox you are going to be RGH'ing. Of course, you have to solder in the wires too.

So, right now, you could RGH three consoles.

If your coolrunners are Rev B, or earlier, you'll only be able to reuse them on dashes 2.0.14699 and earlier.

Anything above that, we'll have to wait for the newer RGH 2.0. (For PHATS on dashboards: 2.0.14717 - 2.0.14719)

With Slims, you'll be able to use your existing cool runners on them, with the latest dash. It is now supported.

I read that if you want to reuse an older coolrunner, for the RGH 2.0 (Not released yet) there might be some physical modifications you'll have to do to the Coolrunner 1.0 . This applies to older PHAT 360 consoles.

Right now, no one knows. (except the creators)

There'll be an official release.

They'll have a well laid out tutorial on how to do everything once it comes out.
