Trinity (14699) not booting Xell

Busy doing RGH and after writing ECC the console won't boot into Xell - just black screen.

Does your CoolRunner show any debug activity (flashing green LED)?

Have you tried the blue wire on different pads to get different wire lengths?

Yes, I've tried 2 points.
I'll check for lights on CR, don't recall any....

Don't wanna waste youre time, so here's a few questions.
Do I leave CR on PRG to test this?
Do I need to hook everything (Nand-X) up to test?

The CoolRunner switches must be set to NORM and SLIM but you can try switching to PHAT if you are having issues.

I'll try that now. There's no lights on the CR by the way...

One LED should be solid red (3.3v) and the other will blink green each time a "pulse" is sent to the CPU.

Looking back at your images, you may want to remove all that solder from STBY_CLK and re-solder it.

Will resolder STBY_CLK now.

As I said, re-solder STBY_CLK and use less solder as you appear to have bathed the whole point.

Doesn't look like it's being bridged in this picture. Time for you to break out the multimeter. First pic had you flooding it, bridging contacts, but this one doesn't look like it's making contact all all. So you may want to focus on STBY_CLK. Test with a multimeter.

Have you used a multimeter before? You want to test for continuity between the points that are to be soldered. So you'll want to set your multimeter to ohms and probe the points that are supposedly bridged. i.e. STBY_CLK.

Simply remove that qsb and try to solder wire directly to that points ( B,E,F & 3.3V )and do a check with multimeter I think something wrong with that QSB with ur soldering.

STBY_CLK point still with little bit doubt of bridged..?

Hi u should have already read your original nand with that u have build the ecc image to boot xell,After booting into xell ( here u got stuck ) with cpu key u can build the glitch image and write it with help of Usb drive there is no need for QSB its only simplifies soldering works

I still need to write the Nand though. HHow do I write the Nand with the QSB removed?

just check for continuity first as "theagent" said..... check continuity on the QSB resistor as well
