Trinity (14699) not booting Xell

If u got XELL then simply rename ur glitchimage as nandflash.bin and along with it copy xenon elf to the root directory of fat32 formated usb drive plug it in console and again boot into xell it will write the nand to the console..Still not get it use jrunner or xnand healer

just check for continuity first as "theagent" said..... check continuity on the QSB resistor as well

Risistor is fine but nothing between QSB and STBY_CLK

This indicates it is not soldered properly, hence no green light on coolrunner. You can try to gently push qsb down (STBY_CLK point) and see if green light starts bliknking on coolrunner. If it does, just correct this point.

Edit: use something plastic to push it down, not your finger

I can't solder that point to save my life - think my QSB is not aligned propperly. I've ruined (as in burned) the QSB trying to solder the points, motherboard is OK. If I solder direct to the board what would be the best way to write the Nand?

nandpro or jrunner with your nand x?, if you cant solder the qsbs your gonna have some issues most likely soldering direct wire.

You can try to remove orange wire from qsb(b point) and solder it directly to motherboard(side of resistor if you feel confident). Moving this cable and leaving qsb as it is won't make any difference for nand reading/writting. I'm guessing your console still boots at the moment??

As i said if it still powers on you can try to move orange wire frim b point on qsb and solder it directly to side of R3B15. But you need to be careful not to burn the resistor.

Solder the B wire to FT3N2 underside of the mobo.

i'll take a look at it if you want mate. make it a weekend and i'll do it while your here so you dont have to come to peterborough twice. this could go out the window if anything needs repaired or its just stubborn though but i'll do my best to get it done while you wait. if i remember right your in ely so if it came to needing left here to do i can always run it back over to you if you cover fuel.
