X360USB PRO Repair?

So I received an X360USB PRO from someone, but it seems to be acted weird/not working at all . When you plug it in the power light comes on and so doses PORTIO, but it seems like the LEDs are flickering. Windows does not detect it, even with the drivers installed. I took it out of the case and nothing seems to be missing/burnt. Now, is there anyone/anywhere I can get this fixed? I do not know where he got it from so I can't send it back. Any suggestions?

Take it back to him/her and tell them you want a working product.

Let me clarify myself, they gave it to me for free since it was not working correctly. I just thought maybe I could get it fixed somewhere instead of throwing it away. Not sure how much it would cost to get fixed, if it even can. I don't like throwing potential fixers away =)

I see, did you receive the optional AUX power cable with it?

If you did, you could give that a try although this may be what caused the device to malfunction in the first place.

I did try the AUX power and still same issues. I can take a pic of the board out of the shell if you want.
