Xecuter J-R Programmer *NOW SHIPPING*

xconsoles rejected my return. will not power reset with push button. switch to go from red light to green light will not work. i tried to read nand on 3 different xboxs. will read nand perfect on all 3. will not write back with out errors no matter what on all 3 consoles.
so i used old usb spi flasher and read and wrote perfect on all 3 consoles with nandpro20d. so you tell me if there is a problem.

also installed drivers correctly and still would not work properly.

also i was chatting with stefanounick on irc and he at the time did not know what the problem was

Like the instructions tell you - unplug the usb cable - move the switch to the right - replug the cable. The LED will then be green (if the firmware is programmed correctly)

if it is not green then you need to update the firmware (switch to the left). The red LED indicates that it is in bootloader mode and/or the firmware is blank/corrupt and of course will not work with any NAND functions.

if you are sure its faulty then simply send it back for testing and you will be told if it is faulty or if you were doing something wrong. Either way you are covered.

it will not switch no matter what. i have tried all your suggestions with no luck. it is programed properly(hex file loaded in red mode)
i can leave it unplugged for minutes and switch to green (nand mode) will rarely ever switch to green.
even when i am lucky and it goes green i still cant write any nand with out errors. will read perfect.

also it is not my soldering. i can use old usb spi and read and write perfect.

i had to write my orig nands back in nandpro. i was getting e71 on all 3 consoles where image was wrote with jr with over 25 errors in the 1st 50 blocks

used 20d to write orignal nand back no bad blocks.

i am sure it is faulty i just want another one but xconsols rejected my claim

Why not try calling them, as über said either way you're covered and xconsoles is the best place to deal with.

xconsoles sent me an email today and will accept return for exchange. i have spent hundreds of dollars there i am glad they stepped up

for all of you guys that cant stand waiting for the correct JTAG Cable to program your CoolRunners - if you have the skills to install RGH - you should be able to do this!



Cut the end off (the white plug that doesn't fit) and solder direct to the back! (you can always desolder it when your replacement cable turns up)


Ohh - I too had drivers issue due the to fact i Have a Nand-x so followed the supplied instructions here http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/s...&postcount=140 and installed the drivers without any further problems

Works like a charm

Of course - if you like to keep things standard - wait for your replacement cable to turn up!

And for the record - just used the J-R Programmer to do a slim RGH with J-Runner : No problems, flawless performance - for the money, it does what it says on the tin!

I ordered a JR programmer from VGC Repairs and it arrived today with two coolrunner cables and both had the wrong connector!

I sent them an email and I am waiting for their response.

Corona v2 and v4 require r/w qsb for nand. Rest of Mobo are JRP and NandX supported. Your wires are fine...read the noob guide to where to start.

yes its the first model jr programmer and
yes you have the right cables and
yes this is compatible with all v3 qsbs

All QSBs (Phat/Trinity/Corona) are compatible with the NAND-X and J-R Programmer.

ok so...this is what the 4th JRP hardware revision? (JRP, JRP 1.1, JRP v2 and gthen this JRP)?

JRP v1.1 = JRP v1 with the QSB speed upgrade installed.

The latest revision is v2 AFAIK.
