Demon with JTAG and online retail NAND?

I know dual NANDs are compatible to use with RGH to go online but what about JTAG. Since the fuse cannot be blown is it possible to load a retail NAND on the demon and use the onboard NAND for the JTAG image? Or is JTAG and online NAND not possible?

Okay that's no help. I know i can install it and its supported. I know i can have two JTAG or custom NAND images but what about a retail.

This has been asked many times, I beleive the answer was no.. The Efuses will be blown preventing the JTAG hack to function...

But it doesnt matter because of rgh. They can change the ldv any time there's an update and have rgh with any dashboard.

you need your recent >7371 retail image on the onboard nand....in order to do that you need your efuses blown -> no jtag.

They're correct the dual nand JTAG will not go online because of the fusechecks. Really although the demon is compatible it is not for live use with a JTAG and never will be.

Okay. Thanks for confirming. Rgh is the only way for online stock and modified nands.

My guess is that someones guna have a jtag, install demon, update their demon(retail nand) to use live, BAM, no more jtag. now they have to buy a coolrunner for RGH, simple marketing ploy =). I mean its a simple enough design to make compatible with old installs. Its not guna cost them anything to make it compatible.

Just my speculation. I could be way off lol (most likely).
