    Description of problem:

Console glitch normally. Sometimes the console glitch but no boot to dasboard. This happens every third start console for example (maybe every second start). The green LED blinks every five seconds. But sometimes when the console glitch but no boot - the screen is showing no signal. When I want the console turned off, so only the fan stops, but the front LED panel lights on. So I have to pull out of the console generation. When you boot into dasboard, so I turn off the console normally. Anybody have any idea pls?

Was the console working before you started: Y

OK thank you Martin for solution. I never did not take off SMD resistor. I do not want to destroy the console. I have to do something like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JM4oCpWnjU

    Thank you for your advice.

You can connect it to GND instead of desoldering

Yes you can use that method, thats the way i usually desolders resistors or capacitors if im not going to re-use them.

OK that will be better for me. So I take a wire, for example, combine R1R1 and AV port? Sorry for the stupid question

Yes, you can. But removing resistor is safer

removing the resistor will not damage the console in any way.

A word of caution. Don't remove R1R1 unless you absolutely need to.

I have a v6 Corona right in front of me (MFR date July 2013) which doesn't boot when removed.

Does it have the Hynix memory chip? Only Hynix have problems like this

Also, it can't boot with ecc written but it can boot fine with freeboot image. (sorry for my bad english )

Yep - Hynix BGA on it. Tried removing and replacing 3 times now (not to mention grounding) and can stop/start it from booting each time. Yes, freeboot is on there. It's also sporadically stopping after 5 resets...

That just means the solution isn't perfect.

Re: Corona V6 glitch - but sometimes no boot

Unless there's another R1R1 on this board and/or I'm going insane, removing/grounding R1R1 stops this from booting.

Sure, it doesn't stop attempting after 5-6 cycles but that's moot.

I remove the GND wire and it fires up.

EDIT: ok - it's still booting but takes a LONG time now. Closer to 2 mins. I'll stop hijacking this thread now. Apologies.

I removed the resistor, but it did not help me. The console does not glitch. Green LED flashes, but very quickly. Normally is 1-2 seconds as I know. Now shines half a second. Points under the restistors - bridged or not?

I think you missed to bridge R2C6 and R2C7. Points under R1R1 must not be bridged.

Can I measure the continuity of the R2C6 and R2C7 by multimeter?
