Help with Burning Games - I/O error - Reason: Illegal Mode For This Track imgburn

    Hello Everyone,

I was hoping someone can help me. I am new to burning games, and I just flashed my firmware with the CK3 and Probe II without any problems.

The first game I burned, Call of Duty Black Ops, burned with imgburn just fine with no problems, I have been playing the game this week with no problems.

But since this successful burn I can no longer burn games, I keep getting a damn I/O error during the verification process of imgburn.

I am using Verbatim DVD+R DL discs with a Dell Dimension 9200 internal DVD+R DL capable burner.

The weird thing is it burned COD just fine and verified just fine.

But now, I tried burning, Naild, Red Dead redemption, Ufc unleashed, and the same thing happens. I also confirm each game with ABGX360 before using IMGBURN, I am also setting the correct layer break to 1913760 and I tried burning both at 2x and 4x (COD burned just fine with 4x).

Here is a sample log from the IMGBURN software:

I hope someone can tell me why this is happening. At least I got one game to work, but I can't figure this out. I figure it has to be all the games are bad right?? Everything else is the same, same burner, same media, etc. What is going on?

It might be the dvd drive laser is not up to scratch for burning 360 back ups.

Have you ran the games that dont work through abgx again to check the disc?

How did you rip the game? Are you sure you've ripped it correctly?

its either your disks or your burner, it is a strange error but it does happen. Try a different set of disks first and if it not try to update your burners firmware
