Xbox 360 Slim Liteon 13599 Dash Update Safely flash to OFW

    Hi,
I'm new to posting but I've read through so much of various websites looking for an answer for my question but have not seen in any of them.

I have an Xbox 360 Slim that is LiteOn DG-16D4S 9504 stock FW, now FW: 0272 and has the Dashboard 13599 update. It has never been flashed before this time.

I'm looking to see if there is a way I can use the JF program or any other way to flash it to its stock FW 9504 safely (without bricking the drive or anything) and possibly upgrade to the LT slim 2.0. I have a phat drive that I have upgraded to 1.9 but that one was so much simpler that this one is turning out to be.

If there is any possible way please let me know as soon as you can, I've taken it apart and left it hoping that the new release of JF and LT would allow me to do things that I wasn't able to before. The hardware on my old 360 isn't lasting much longer and so I wanted to move my backup discs to my slim.

You dont flash to stock 9504 you flash to stock 0272 as your drive is no longer a 9504.

And you dont use a phat drive either NO SPOOFING IS ALLOWED ANYMORE !

isnt that saying in the guide ?

NOTE: If you have updated to the dashboard 2.0.13146.0 then your fw version will now be 0272. If you have updated to dashboard version 2.0.13599.0 then your drive is now locked and you need to follow the same procedures as the 0225 and 0401 drives

Re: Xbox 360 Slim Liteon 13599 Dash Update Safely flash to OFW

Basically I was hoping that there was a chance that there was maybe a way to use just the JF program to put it back to whatever stock drive it would be which @Ubergeek says it would be the Slim Stock 0272. And if that is the fact that there is no way to move backward, then it seems as though the 0225 and 0401 methods for simplicity sake (without any PCB changes) require the x360USB Pro attachment...

yep, ubergeek misunderstood me, i was not refering to spoof the phat drive, was just wondering if you had a usbpro, ck3 pro or lite cause thats what you need to flash drives, not even mentioned pcb sputnick board cause youre drive is locked now.

if you have any doubts doing ityourself, youre better bring to a pro.

Re: Xbox 360 Slim Liteon 13599 Dash Update Safely flash to OFW

Yea, all the guides have been really helpful and I've followed them to the letter. I just seemed to update the dashboard and locked it before I should've. I was hoping that I wouldn't need to go get $100 worth of tools because I accidentally went too far with the update.

So I would be right in assuming that there is no way without these tools to revert the system back to before the 13599 dashboard? Either through JF or a usb stick that would auto start an update?

Thanks for all the quick answers by the way!

well , without the tools you go nowhere.
but if you want to play your backups from your orginal games you cant do without the proper tools
and you need them on every fw update.
or the other option is to bring it to a pro.
