    upgrade hdd to 1tb

    hey guys i have a rgh falcon with 250gb hdd,i want to upgrade the hdd to 1 tb . im just wondering wich hdd should i get ? i read something here the wd is onee of the best to use .is that true? please help also my 250 gb hdd is a retail so i need a info on how to switch the hdd

    For switching data use a transfer cable. You need to look at a couple of factors with 1tb the height of the drive 12.5 mm requires slight modification of the enclosure or a 9.5mm which is plug and play. I use wd I have also used a Samsung

    really ok good thanks ,i will look into that ,theres any other way the i could do it by switching the the 250 hdd for another side? dont have to be 1tb

    You could use a external hdd

    Get a drive (I recommend Western Digital or Seagate), format it with the console and away you go - very simple .

    so just get a 9.5 drive put in side of the case the i have and im good to go? also can i tranfer data by ftp right?

    I'm not sure what dimensions the HDD shell supports but you should be fine.

    You can transfer your stuff over with FTP or by connecting the drive to your computer, it's up to you.
