Talking Fixed my X360USB "Device Not Recognized" issue

Hey guys dont know if this will help much as I don't come around to often unless I need something, but I ran to an issue that I couldn't find the answer to in 5 minutes but fixed the issue on the 6th minute so I went no further to see if the problem was taking care of or not. So if this info is pointless please remove it at no discretion.

My x360USB when first hooked up to the pc had both activity light and power light blinking repeatedly. All my windows 7 said was "device not recognized" and I tried replugging it in to all of the USB slots and numerous pc's and it didn't work. Finally I read up on what the hell I was doing. I started out when plugging my unit, I used both usb cables (the data cable and AUX cable) when first hooking the unit up and the lights were blinking crazy. I figure that may be the issue with everyone that this is happening too. So I tried one cable still to no avail. Both lights were still blinking crazy. I looked here for an answer and couldn't find it in the first 5 minutes of reading so I tried the reset button. Still didnt work. So I decided to plug in just the AUX cable and hold the reset button for 10 secs than let it go. The lights will be solid when you plug in the AUX cable and will go out when reset button is held. when button is released lights will go back solid. I than plugged in my USB data cable by itself an WHALAH!!!!

It now works and power light is Solid Green. Hope this helps someone as many of you here have helped me. I appreciate what everyone does here.

Pretty much what it tells you in the troubleshooting part of the instructions.

    Glad you got it working.

Thanks. Well I guess I got more common sense than most of them.
