Thumbs up Another Alternate STBY_CLK (Underneath Board)

I found an alternate STBY_CLK (Hana Chip) solder point under the chip itself (C4N27). The point contacts the right side (looking from the front of the motherboard) of the resistor at R4B24. If you lifted the resistor you will likely need to replace it in-line with something similar.

I have not tested this myself yet (I am doing that shortly) but I am very confident it will work, I just wanted to share the information with the community as soon as possible.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves...

Do you know what type of resistor that is there? If the resistor is lifted you would have to replace it with something.

Sorry to be a stickler but I only just realised that this point already exists - see here.

Nonetheless, people can see for themselves on this thread.

I wonder what that small wire is for that's taped down. Any ideas?

I'm not trying to sound like a dummy, but I think it might be light refracting *edit (reflecting)* off the kapton tape. :P

If it is, it's almost perfect on those two points.

Re: Another Alternate STBY_CLK (Underneath Board)

Omg thank you so much for this Alt point and Thanks for the video XJonnyGunsX i cant for the life of me solder the STBY_CLK using the QSB this should help alot.

So all i do is solder a Wire to the B point on the Coolrunner, then run that under the board to the point on the underside?
    Thanks again

FT2R2 is easier buddy. About a third of the way down this page.

And yes, point B on Coolrunner to the alt point.

Modding today is a race between people stirring to build bigger and better idiot-proof tutorials, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.
