    320GB HDDSS.BIN

Say I had an approved 1TB HDD ( yes i know that it will only show 320 on a non exploited 360), i format/flash it with the 320.bin.

I know that for live this will be more than sufficient. My question is will the remainder of the drive be formatted as well?

If we had a DemoN then it would be able to use the rest of the Hdd?
I feel that would unlock the full potential of the 360.

Is that what happened? If not well maybe there would be a small work abound like multiple partitions.

    Re: 320GB HDDSS.BIN

On a retail console, only 320GB of the HDD will be 'seen'. There is no way around this until MS release a larger HDD and a new HDDSS.BIN is released.

You will only be able to use the 320gb on a standard console or with just a flashed drive. If you have RGH then it is a different matter.

Yes, i was referring to if we were using it to dual boot/ DemoN. would the modded nand show the full amount of space? and the un touched nand show 320?
or would it just be 320 for both because it was formatted to be 320?

For safety, I would format on the retail NAND and then use on the RGH as it's possible the exploited dash will ignore the HDDSS and format to full capacity, which you obviously don't want.

Seems like this is something that i can test on my free time.. i just need to get a 500 GB HDD flash the bin to it and report back. sounds like a good use of my time if i have any free time the next few days

think about it - it won't work.

If you format to maximum capacity in RGH and then use on retail, the partition will be either corrupt or unstable.

I agree but im going to see if multiple partitions will help just something to experiment with.
    Format to 320
plug into rghed 360 to see if it needs to reformat OR if it shows 320 or the full amount. thats all im trying to find out. For the OG xbox there was a multiple partitionar and maybe i can get something like that going, 320 partitioned for live use. and the rest for RGH.

Just an idea. If it doesnt work then im ok with that.

    Re: 320GB HDDSS.BIN

Forget about Xbox 1 days. This won't work. Not only does it not support extra partitions, but even if it did your RGH boot wouldn't see them as it doesn't know to look for them.

Remember the whole .06 / .67 BIOS thing with Xbox1's? If you formatted a drive with .67 BIOS (F gets 137GB, G gets the rest), it would mess up F drive when you used it on an .06 BIOS.

We have even less control over partitions on a 360.
