    JTAG 1 Red Light Error (1013 S.E.C/E71)

    Hi,

I've got a JTAGGED 360 ( not RGH ), everything was working fine, suddenly it stopped working , Shows 1 Red light with 1013 Secondary error code.

Xell works fine, when I press the eject button it boots with no problem, So it's not the problem of overheating or something.

So, I opened the console to see what's the problem, All wires are fine,

I desoldered them and replaced the diodes, soldered everything back, but still it shows the same error.

Is there any way to bypass Xell, getting to Dashboard ?

    Motherboard : Falcon
    ---JTAG---

    Any help is appreciated.

E71 is failure to load dashboard. It can be caused by a number of things. I would first attempt to build a new image and reflash using XeLL. This will check 2 things:

    1. Ensure you have a valid image.
    2. Bad blocks - if your NAND has developed any bad blocks in the time it was working, you will get an error when writing the image. If you do, you might need to manually remap.

If the above doesn't help, connect a NAND-x / J-R Programmer and build an image with the 'noremap' xebuild option, then use the 'Write Fusion' option in the J-Runner advanced options. If any bad blocks are found, it'll remap them automatically.

Read the J-Runner PDF for creating an image.

To reflash using XeLL, copy the new image (called updflash.bin) to a USB stick and press eject. It should write it for you.

If this doesn't work, grab the xenon.elf file in the J-Runner download and put onto the USB stick too, but rename updflash.bin to nandflash.bin

I used Xebuild 4, Created updflash dump, Copied the updflash.bin onto my usb drive, powered my xbox using eject button, booted into Xell, found the update and it flashed.
