how far back do the defective CR4's go back ?........dates needed

hi members , i purchased CR4 XL's from Ozmodchips and Modchip Central and im worried they fall into the defective batch i'll list the dates below of my purchases.

All orders from modchipcentral.

8/7/15: 1 cr4 good
8/27/15: 2 good cr4 and 1 bad cr4 resulting in dead console
12/12/15: 2 bad cr4 resulting in 2 dead consoles

Also had a customer provided chip purchased from the same place in November of 2015 which was also defective. Didn't kill the console but wouldn't glitch any console.

Im finding CR4's in phats dont work anymore but slims are good.
