The right low-loss cable, specifications? (Or where to order in EU)

I went to the local electronics store and asked the sales person for a 50 Ohm low-loss double shielded cable and he advised me the cable displayed below, which is marked with the code H155 (I think that's some kind of specification).

Also he assured me that 50 Ohm cables always have multiple copper wires (whereas I have seen pictures of installed low-loss cables with a single copper core which is probable easier to solder). Also I asked him if he had a thinner cable but he told me cables of the mentioned specifications are always this thick.

Anyways, I bought a meter but as you can see in the pictures below this will never fit though the holes that you usually run the cables through, so I definitely need a thinner cable.

I assume I should be looking for another cable, can anyone advice me on what specifications I should look?

In the meanwhile I have been Googling around, can it be that I should be looking for a RG8X / MINI-8 cable?

    The cable I bought:

Check xconsoles. They have the right cable for the job. Here is the link http://www.xconsoles.com/products/lo...led-cable.html

Yeh I know them but I'm in Europe, which means I'll pay $26,- for 10 feet of cable and have it delivered in over 2 weeks with a chance of additional import duties, no thanks.

10 feet (or 3 meters) should be around 5 euro's (ex. shipping) I guess and delivered within a few days.

Try searching on RG174/U or just RG174
    X Submariner

LMR100A is cheaper, a little thinner and has an extra layer of shielding from RG174.
Shielded cables waste of time imo...

You do not have to go through any holes, solder it to the top of the board. See Martin C's sticky.

I'd want it delivered and fitted for that much but the Cobra Electronics is a good price.

If you're going to get some, get a couple of metres for me, their postage is a tad high.
