Quick question, I just got the kit today, my drive (lite on) was flashed maybe 2 years ago by a service place, with one of the iextreme versions. Do i still need to probe the drive to get the key or can i get a dummy one through jungle flasher?

I have the Lite-On 74850C DVD Drive and it is a Virgin Drive from the vendor. Do I still need to use the Xecuter LT Switch to get the original data from my drive? Also, do I need to alter the board of the drive in any way?

TX: No you can use the PMT method - no cuts no soldering - check the forums

It's possible to uninstall the blaster, correct? I can't get the hard drive to connect to the console because of the wiring, and it's being quite a nuisance.

TX: Then you have installed it wrong - it is designed to fit alongside the HDD perfectly

Im a little confuse. After I probe and get key from Liteon 74850C DVD Drive, what do I do with it? Your instruction mention only to put together and Jugler Flasher I've read, jump into flashing the DVD drive, which kind of beat the purpose of having this unit that allow me to turn off and on. I'm new to this so it maybe a dumb question but point me to the right direction if you have the answer. thankx

Xecuter: Perhaps read the Jungle Flasher Manual ?
