It worked ! I followed all the instruction and worked like a charm, my only regret is that i should have bought the unlock kit cause opening the xbox was tricky.
Removing the old thermal paste was the longest thing to do, took about 45minutes…

Would recommend this repair kit, worked for me, Thanks Team Xecuter !

I had the dreaded red ring of death with three red lights and decided after having had it fixed once, I could not justify paying £85 for a 'shoddy' fix. I bought this kit and found with the instructions it was fairly straight forward, though opening the xbox was quite fiddly. After 2 hours, the repair was complete and the xbox lasted 5 minutes before dying again. I decided to repeat the 'cooking' stage and low and behold, the xbox has stayed working for a whole week (*touch wood). I would assume that overheating the xbox again caused the thermal paste to properly adhere to the heatsinks. If you cannot afford or justify the fixing price, give this a go, it is simple and very effective. Thanks team xecuter!

I bought this kit to fix an older 360 that has no video but has sound. It originally had the RROD about a year ago and I did a repair using the LLama parts list. The unit worked until now and was hoping this better kit would fix the no video. The 360 has no red lights only the green but no video. I have other 360's using the same cables so I know the cables are fine. Do you have any suggestions? I have the screws tight. Thanks, Great Kit!

I just want to congratulate you on your brilliant repair kit.

I was skeptical it would work – I always thought the RROD meant an irreparable fault – but I used your kit and my son's 360 is now as good as new!

Hi,
3 lights burning in the ring of light of my box.
So i've bought the pro II kit, and used it on a xbox from 2006 with a sammy. The box was poorly repaired using normal bolts. I removed the useless cr*p, placed the xecuter kit and the box lived once again.
The 2 extra heatsinks are a good add-on.
Tested the box for a week.

ps. if the box doesn't work after the baking proces loosen the allen bolts a quarter turn.

Well I've bought one kit and fixed one 360, I have now bought my second kit and will let you know how I get on, Xecuter have you thought of selling a kit without the tools (drivers and Allen key) for those people that are fixing their friends and families 360s don't need spare tools. cheers

Works like a charm… Beats out the heat gun trick any day of the week! Torture tested with Oblivion and GRAW2 for 48 solid hours with no problems!

some how i am not surprised that my comment is no where to be found as it was not a good one for this product did not fix our rrod problem it actually made it worse and i dont know how thats possible but there it is

Xecuter: Read the product description again – it says very clearly that it doesn't guarantee it will work. If it was a 100% guarantee I assure you it would be a lot more expensive. It is impossible to guarantee that it will work as there are SO MANY different causes – this is the best chance you have next to reflowing the entire board costing $100+. However i will say this – you say it made it worse – well straight away that tells me you've done something very wrong as it does not make it worse. The amount of kits that are sold and the amount of positive reviews compared to those that can't get it worked are greatly outnumbered in favor of success.

have to say, i'm very impressed with.this kit. had green fuzzy screen after two minutes of gaming so bought the kit, got it delivered day after ordering and then installed it. didn't think it had worked but i hadn't done the baking step. now is working fine and my brother is made up that he can play bioshock 2 again. well worth the money and an amazing service.will use again and will recommend to friends

Team-Xecuter has never failed to impress me with both their fast delivery (unit arrived next day!) and the fantastic quality of the unit. Instructions were easy to follow too.

Already had my box apart so took me about 15 mins to get this kit installed and fire it up. WORKED IMMEDIATELY !!!

Had it all back together in time for the delivery of Bad Company 2 today!
