Xecuter xDrive
The Xecuter xDrive is an add-on kit that gives your Xbox 360 the ability to have a switchable external DVD drive. using the same technology as used on the new Blaster CK3, the xDrive gives you the freedom to utilize a second DVD drive without having to open up your Xbox 360 ever again. You may want a second drive to perform backups of your valuable Xbox 360 games using the new 0800 firmware which is proven to be more reliable than the Kreon DVD drive rips; you may want to keep your internal drive as stock and untouched and have your external unit freely available to do with as you please; you may want to increase the longevity of your internal DVD drive – there are many reasons for you to benefit from the Xecuter xDrive.

I'm wondering if M$ detects moded consoles WHEN logging into XBOX Live, then this could be a way to avoid bans. Logging with unmoded drive and then switching to to moded one. So is it possible. Sorry for my english

I have already pre-ordered but wanted to ask a stupid question.
Does the xDrive need to enabled prior to the 360 booting up or can you switch between the internal and modded external drives on the fly??

Of course the drive is not included – the xDrive supports ALL models of drive.
The Xbox has to be powered down every time you switch drives

Your internal drive does not have and fw, only the external drive, so you can't be banned when your switched to internal?
What DVD drive do you recommend?
Benq, Hitachi, or Samsung?
I have a Hitachi as my internal drive will putting a different external drive cause a hardware malfunction, like the RROD can it be detected by MS?

Any drive – doesn't matter what internal drive you have.

It would be cool if the NIC would be disabled when switched to the Xdrive to prevent connectivity to XBL.

Xecuter: By Using a CK3 Pro or CK3 Lite
This is a great product, but I would like to see something similar to the WODE (wii optical drive emulator) for the 360. Some sort of DVD drive emulator with USB support for loading ISO images from an external hard drive.
spent all day designing this (minus the fancy switch molding), shoulda looked here first.
I have the damned lite-on w/93450 fw
Before I shell out the cash someone please confirm:
1. I can use a BenQ drive as my alternate
2. I will still need to do the soldering on the damned lite-on to get the DVD key to put onto the BenQ
i already have this because i orderd it a couple weeks ago and i guess i got like the last one or sumthing but i installed it do i have to have 2 dvd drives to use this and is this a jtag to do 10th lobbys in call of duty?
i think i understand this please correct me if I'm wrong. so you need your own xbox 360 DVD drive for a the x drive and software of the x drive will flash it.
