Xecuter XFRAG 360

The Xecuter XFRAG 360 is the ultimate accessory for the hardcore gamer who craves the accuracy and freedom of using their beloved keyboard and mouse on an Xbox 360. We have looked at other products on the market and taken it to the next level by looking at gamers wish lists and then fine tuning every aspect of quality and performance and giving it to you at a price that doesn’t break the bank.

This device is not meant for the average gamer who likes to take pot shots at tin cans, this is for the gamer who loves to frag the living hell out of anything that moves – whether it be Call Of Duty, Gears of War, Rainbow Six or Halo – you will simply OWN anything that crosses your path. For the discerning Playstation addict – you can even connect a PS2 DualShcok2 controller to your Xbox 360 (though why anybody would prefer the PS2 controller over the soul-soothing goodness that is a 360 controller is beyond us) – we’ve added it anyway !

We have struck a deal that will see this distributed in several global high street retail chains so you can be sure to be able to get your hands on one of these for only $69.95 ! (Similar products sell for upto $100)

You are saying this is expensive – but you don't know the cost ;) It is a LOT cheaper than other versions on the market :) Unfortunately it can only be set up with a wired controller at the moment – however we are looking into wireless function.

  2. PETE says:

bit confused by this, do i need a wired controller to make this thing work ?

  3. Xecuter says:

Yes you need a wired controller to do the initial setup. Its not required once you've set everything up.

  4. acDC says:

does using a play and charge kit construde as a wired controller?

  5. Xecuter says:

"does using a play and charge kit construde as a wired controller?"

    No it doesn't

  6. John says:

    Will it be over 100dollars?

  7. Xecuter says:

No – we are aiming for it to be less than $70. I will announce the RRP as soon as its known. Hopefully next week.

  8. Aldur says:

Looks awesome to me. Assuming I can use my wired GH3 guitar to set it up, a $70 RRP would rock. Throw in the cost of a wired controller, and probably still a good deal for someone like me who really prefers KB & mouse in FPS.

  9. CJ says:

Wow, looks like that was rendered using solidworks. Very attractive device, good job teamXecuter, now just figure out how to get my cpu id from a 8505+ kernel, and we are set!

All I'm seeing so far is another product in a long line of less-than-stelar mouse/keyboard products for the 360. That being said, I will not buy one blindly.
Granted that this thing will not work very well with games such as Halo 3, which have extensive optimizations for stick control that make mouse and keyboard usage frustrating. I will thus evaluate this product based on its performance in games that do not have much in the way of optimizations for aiming controls. This being the case, I would place a lot of stock in a video demonstration on the 360 using a game without as much stick optimization such as, say, Modern Warfare. Such promotional material placed prominently on your site will serve as significant motivation for me to purchase your product, so long as the results look good. Otherwise, I'm afraid I will end up passing this one over.

  11. eliteinfantry says:

*That is to say that I think a video demonstration of Modern Warfare would be good, as its aiming optimizations are relatively minor compared with Halo. Feel free to delete this follow-up, as I felt that the previous message was somewhat unclear.

Where the XFRAG is a great piece of kit – it will still never be as super accurate and responsive as the high end much more expensive devices such as the XIM2 ( see http://www.xim360.com ) – however using the XFRAG along with the XIM1 would be a terrific experience for the price range that we will be shipping at.

  13. Xecuter says:

If you are looking at really high end function then you need to be looking at the XIM2 ( see http://www.xim360.com ) – it's extreme high end performance but obviously there is also a huge price difference.

  14. miltonchad says:

That is MUCH cheaper than the other versions out there – price was the only thing that put me off doing this before, but I'm guna get hold of one of these when they come out! This also looks better!

  15. kiro says:

I am extremely excited about this device! Is there any way to be notified when I can order a unit online? Will this unit be seamless/responsive enough to play Modern Warfare 2 online? Thanks!

  16. chenko24 says:

When will this be available? I would like to get it soon so I can play with my buds on the 360 and not have to use the controller.

  17. digital007 says:

Any ETA on this Been checking every day

  18. ZelsiuZ says:

Please! When and where can I buy this!?

  19. kim095 says:

How should i make an order in russia???

  20. Xecuter says:

It is on sale at various stores such as modtraders.co.uk
