The Xecuter Product Support Rules & Guidelines are here to make the community a productive and informative environment. We encourage all of our members to search the forums and do their own research before asking questions. We have worked hard on guides and tutorials to make this easy for you. The members and staff that use the forums are here on a voluntary basis and are not paid by Team Xecuter. There are thousands of experienced members who are happy to help you.

This community exists specifically as a place for official support for Xecuter products. We understand when it comes to legacy products it might be bit hard now to source certain parts, so we will be a bit forgiving if you mention or need help with other xbox products.

The rules are simple and easy to understand. We respectfully request that you read and understand these rules and hopefully by sticking to them, the community will continue to be a great place to come for information and friendly advice.

We are serious - none whatsoever. This includes no talking about downloading games, release groups, warez, newsgroups, torrents, files sharing or anything else to do with piracy. We understand that backing up your original games to protect your investment is allowed in some countries, so this is allowed. However discussing anything regarding backing up an original that you do not own is theft and piracy and is not allowed !

This includes pirated games. There are plenty of forums and websites that host that type of stuff - this is not one of those sites for obvious reasons. We expect you to have a small amount of common sense and understand why this is not allowed here.

This community contains an extensive archive of questions and answers. We also have very detailed guides & tutorials that answer pretty much every question you could possibly have. We find it exhausting to continue answering the same questions that have been answered a hundred times before.

If you can't find an answer then please start a new thread in the appropriate area. We are here to help people, not only to give advice but to educate people on how to help themselves.

Please do not reply to another person's support thread unless you want to help or have information that can help. If you reply to someones thread and it has nothing to do with their problem, this is called THREAD HI-JACKING and is frowned upon by the entire community. Unless you want to help the original poster with his or her problem do not reply in that thread. If you require support, please create your own thread.

This is self explanatory. If you want the best support, please be sure you are posting in the correct area.

We do not need anyone to mini-mod other members. We have selected a group of moderators to deal with this sort of thing.

Q: Just what is mini-modding ?

Mini modding is a member who is intending to be a moderator/staff member and in fact they aren't, with answer's like this should be locked, wrong place etc.. that is a mini modding post.

Q: What do I do if I think a post is incorrect or wrongly placed or if a member is breaking the rules because I want to help the community.

Simply report the post by hitting the report button and give the reasons for reporting. A member of staff will then take care of it. It is totally confidential and you don't need to be involved at all.

In order to maintain a positive atmosphere, no personal attacks or insults will be tolerated AT ALL. While discussions may become heated, it is not an excuse to result to attacks or insults. There is a difference between a passionate, respectful discussion and one that delves into personal matters. Think of it as debating issues, not individuals. When the line is crossed, the discussion may be closed by the moderation team. Violators will be warned and potentially receive a temporary ban.

Do not post provocative, outrageous, or pointless messages only to get a response from others, i.e. "trolling." Repeat violators will be permanently banned.

If you have a problem or a complaint, direct it to the administrators and/or moderating staff, not to the forums. The appropriate actions will be taken. We reserve the right to ban any user when deemed necessary, with or without prior warning.

This community is an English speaking community. Please translate your text into English before posting.
We hope to bring better support for other languages soon, but for now, English only.

On a final note, while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.


If any of these rules are broken (or if any other type of discipline is required) a Moderator or Administrator will issue a warning. When a warning is issued the user will be notified with a reference to the post that was reported and an explanation on why a warning was issued.

Here are the basic warnings we have set up:

Inappropriate content
- 1 point
- expires in 1 day

Inappropriate behavior
- 1 point
- expires in 1 week

Inappropriate language
- 1 point
- expires in 1 day

Abuse / Personal Attack
- 3 points
- expires in 1 month.

There are other forms of warnings and bans that the staff may use at times depending on each situation. Remember the staff here has the final say.

5 warning points will automatically trigger a 3 day temporary ban!

If a user somehow manages to get even more points, higher disciplinary actions are in place to deal with those users... we suspect nobody will get to those levels though unless they are outright looking to cause trouble and be banned from the community permanently.

The rules are super simple to follow and are for the good of the community.
