xboxclassic x3 avalaunch

Hello all... my xbox "classic" has x3 chip that used to load avalaunch for ally gaming needs...but now I just get a bios mEnu. I was told the evox.ini file was corrupted so I ftp into it to edit but to no avail. Can someone please direct me to how to get avalaunch and all my games / emus running...
