JTAG 0020 with original nand

Just done a CPU/Nand transplant on a Falcon V2. Wrote the original nand and got 0020, with FB it works fine. Im not too bothered as its working fine with FB, just interested to know what could cause it

Do you found any bad blocks ?

you can try to make a retail image using J-Runner and see what happens .

The original has bad block but I used the same nand IC so wouldn't expect it to be bad blocks causing the problem

Was the CPU/NAND combo working ok before transplant? i.e was it stock before lifting?

Yep, it worked fine. I only did the transplant cos the original board was damaged.

Have you considered running the CPU on a reflow if not already done?

Both have been reballed then reflowed

Makes no sense to me TBH - if the board type is the same then the BLs will also be the same. Have you thought about making a retail NAND and seeing if that worked?

Have they definitely gone to another Falcon v2?

makes no sence to me either, both motherboard are Falcon with 4 ram bricks. This is a noobish question, can I still make a 12625 retail nand and it still be Jtaggable though.

I think you can make a 7371 Retail using J-Runner....

Ah, so you can, I'd not noticed that before, I only saw 12611 as the lowest. I'll give it a try and report back

Created a 7371 retail, 0020, wrote FB, works fine. Very odd

What CB was in the 7371 image?

The original dash is 7363 and the CB is 5770

Is the 7371 image being built with a 5770 CB too?

Have you checked LDV also?

CB is still the same with 7371, LDV is also correct.
