0023 Falcon Error

I bought an old xbox 360 falcon that had been apparently "rgh'ed". But I suspect it is a JTAG due to it booting instantly. I decided to update it from 16203 to 16537, dumped the current glitched NAND got the CPU key (which I checked four times to ensure it was correct) and put it into xeBuild. In xeBuild, it stated that it was an RGH 1 console so I decided to go with it and flashed it onto the xbox using simple NAND flasher.

It did not state any bad blocks and it came up with a smiley face after the process was completed I then shut the xbox down (manually by turning off the switch because it froze when I clicked turn off console). Just as a note, I forgot to wait 30 seconds before turning it back on. Anyway, at first when I turned it on, it was green but just did not boot up and I left it like this for about 10 minutes. At first when I turned it on the was a loud fan noise. I then restarted it (manually) and the 1st and 3rd lights turned on red. I proceeded to get the secondary code and found out that it was 0023. People have stated that it may be because of a short but do you think it could be a bad NAND flash? I have a copy of the 16203 NAND which was working fine and the original non glitched NAND that the seller gave me.

Flash back the original nand and test it again, that will tell you if the new image is bad or not written correctly.

Why didn't u use the jrunner update feature over lan. This is the only method everyone should be using. It almost impossible to mess up. It explains it all on pg 22 in jrunner.

Unfortunately I do not have a nand flasher with me and would prefer to know which fix has the higher chance before buying tools. I know there is no definite answer but is this leaning towards a nand issue or a short?

So anyway I bought a m.a.t.r.i.x spi nand reader/writer and was just wondering if anyone has anymore thoughts on this. Does the fact that xell does not boot change the problem?

Do enlighten me where I asked help for using a m.a.t.r.i.x nand reader? Do read properly, I recommend that to you.

Next time use a JR Programmer.
Do you not think that I would have searched for a JR Programmer first? They are out of stock in all of my local retailers and if I were to buy it from the few official retailers that still sell them, it would cost me a lot more due to shipping.

Thank you next time I will follow your advice it was just I have used NAND Flasher 360 in the past and that was working fine for me so I never used it with JRunner
