0047 itachi mode B problem

i connected ym drive to my via 6421 card . Run slax, then spinning up disc so i eject then it conmtinues, THEN i go to thw part about usb stuff. then it says FATAL ERROR OCCURED, Live data not found, searching for live cd.sgn file but file not found and some other stuff. I have maged to find out that this a a rare occurance. but any know ho to solve this issue without uaing another mode B method.

Can you use slax with a pci via 6421 sata card . I heard that slax can run with that ??

Did you check to see if your drive went into ModeB? If it's taking two presses to open / close the drive then don't worry about the error. As long as the drive goes into ModeB, that's really the only point of the Slax disc.
