I sold a RGH last week and the buyer complained of the disc drive displaying read DVD more often than not.
the drive was a 0225 and I autoloaded the firmware as normal.
Q - can JF still load the wrong firmware if it was meant to be 0225u?
I was leaning towards a dead laser although I replaced it when I got the console just weeks ago.
Only today when I remembered the old pull the power out and and try again video that was about when 0225 firmware was being tested and it seemed to work.
Any insight would be nice
