LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM 0225 - Kamikaze Mod - Not Reading Back Ups

I had my drive Kamikaze modded by a member on here.
The drive will read my original disks but not my back ups.

Play disk comes up on the dash board and when I try to play it says read error.

Here's a K Probe of one of my back ups. I'm not sure if this is the problem or not.



From what I've read this could also be a laser issue.

Any help?

Try burning it again. It could be your disc or the laser. What media type are u using.

I've tried a couple times. I'm using MK001 Verbatums.

I can give me some time though, I've got to boot into Windows.

Running a bit in front of your xbc and imgburn logs etc, but your PI av is around 120% to high, it is 11.01 and needs to be under (around) 5.

This fact and maybe a weak laser can give you problems reading, I've seen better backups then yours fail because of a weak laser. Keep in mind the burned backups take more effort to read than the printed originals.

I will try another burn and see if I can get my PI down.

Can't find my logs or I didn't save them.

I did another burn and my PI was around 3-4 average but it's still not reading the back up.
I've got a new laser on order just to try it.

I guess in this matter you're on your own then from now on without xbc logs etc...

See if you can get an MKM003 disc.....one of your local media shops may sell one disc, you may get a better result
