Can someone help me understand the difference between LT 2.0 and LT 2.0u. I just got my unlocked TX PCB in today for my 0225 drive. I installed it and flashed it using this guide...http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67582. Everything went exactly as shoon, but when I tested the xbox, it said play dvd. I read of someone else having the same proplem, and they said that they loaded the 2.0, not 2.0u that JF auto loads. I tried this and it worked. I was wondering what the difference is between the two FW, and why it would act like that. Also, I don't know if it matters, but I have an xbox that was labled 9504, but actuall has 0225.

Thank you for your help!

LT+ 2.0 0225 is for drives that were shipped with 0225 firmware, the 0225u variant is for drives that were "factory updated" (mis-labeled 9504 drives).

However, LT+ 3.0 should be along any day now for your drive so I think you are better off waiting for that :).
I know 3.0 is right around the corner, I just wanted to flash it and make sure the pcb worked. If 0225u is for misslabled drives then I'm still confused as to why it didn't work on my misslabled drive and 0225 did work. I guess as long as it works I shouldnt complain, I'm just trying to understand the reasons behind things.

I knew about 3.0, the console won't be online anytime soon, and I just recieved the PCB in so I wanted to just put the most current FW on it to make sure it was in working order. I was confused with the problem I had and posted for help because I didn't know if the problem was related to my PCB or not.
