All will be fixed...talked to the customer today and the hack who killed the drive did give him the dummy files...
This console was brought to me by a customer with a botched kamikaze hack from another installer. For whatever reason the console was given back to customer with now dead dvd . I have done plenty of FW pre-slim but I could fill a gym with the number of basement FW modders in my area so focus mainly on JTAG/RGH.
The console arrived at me with no dummy.bin that would have been acquired by the installer who killed it with kamikaze.
It has been glitched already on 14719
I purchased a TX DVD PCB Replacement
X360USB + Ck3i
Have all KV_info showing 0225 FW from J-Runner
From my understanding being a permanent RGH now I simply needed to build a LT 3.0 0225 and insert key.
It is a LT version of 0225 FW and correct key but does not show games original or backup'd
It does however boot my XEX Menu cd so drive physically works.
The only addition to that is that what was said as a "VERY IMPORTANT" part of the JF procedure on the TX replacement boards is to establish the OUTRO key report.
After many attempts at clicking OUTRO it never did give the verified key message.
Does this perhaps mean the key did not actually get onto the drive?
Being an RGH is NOFCRT patch an issue here? My understanding is that this is only a problem if spoofing a different drive.
