LITEON 0225 0225-v3.0u VS. 0225-v3.0

I recently had a post asking the difference between 2.0u and 2.0. I have a slim labled as 9504, but is actually a 0225. I have CK3 Pro and 360usb. When I auto load the FW in JF, it brings up 3.0u. When i Flash it and test, the console says "play dvd". I read someone else having this problem and they said that they manually loaded just the 3.0 and it works. I did this and my console now works. But can somebody explain why 3.0u wont work? I was told that 3.0u was made for misslabeled consoles and consoles that were updated to 0225, but that would not make sense because my console would fall under that category.

Did u lock it afterward. I have a 9504 that came up as a 0225 in JF. I use the ltplus0225u file as well and all works.

Yes I unlock it to write and lock it again when I am finished. I do everything exactly as the TUT shows. I do it exactly the same with both types of FW.

I have many 9504 labeled drives with 0225 firmware, and 4 of 5 didn't work with 0225u firmware (play dvd) and excellent work with 0225. I don't know why, but it's fact.

Do auto-load. It should automatically select the correct one. If for some reason it doesn't work, try the other.
