Hi,
tried to flash my slim 0225u drive, and when I did i found out i am missing the Serial.bin file. I think this problem causes my main problem..
When i load the dummy.bin of my drive, it shows me the DVD Key, but when it "spoofs" it to the LTPlus3.0, the dvd key section shows DVD [email protected] n/a FFFFFFF.

I have found out that my dummy file is missing the laser serial number. I do have it, but i am not sure to insert it to the dummy file.

Please help me, the drive is unusable,
Guy Z

Did you slimkey your drive??
Have you got dummy only selected
Or did you get prompted to save 5 files

Yes, I did slimkey the drive, but for some reason it saved only the dummy. I have the other 3 files from the key d/b in my jungle flasher, but i am still missing a file (serial.bin)

Currently, it is impossible the get the serial bin from the drive due to the fact that i falshed it with a ltplus with incomplete data (which i found out only later)

and I somewhat successfully inserted the missing laser serial to the dummy bin using hex editor. now the original games show the xbox dvd, and the backups show a black screen, and then return to home screen, so that is an improvement

i did search the web for how to recreate the key sector, and couldnt find an answer

There should be no difference in behaviour between the two. an original XDG3 will behave in the same was as a backup.

The information to rebuild the data is public.

It is on xboxhacker.

You've spent less than 20 minutes looking on xboxhacker, so, yes, I could post a link.

Could you look harder?

I've sat and read things for days to comprehend what goes on - you cant even spare 20 minutes...

Im pretty much the only JF guy that ever commented on the situation.

IT could always be done, the info was never released, but, now it is.
