ANSWERED 0401 drive flashing problem

I was attempting to flash my xbox 360 slim with an 0401 drive that is up to date on xbl updates. I brought a sputnik with and have soldered it on correctly and cut he trace. I hooked up the drive to my via card and the ck3. I started preforming the steps to unlock the drive with the sputnik360 switch and i heard the double beep. after that my jf looked like this View attachment 6318.

then i read around and tried to lock it again to get the spi feature back then i got View attachment 6319
and my computer cant find the drive. I know i am missing some info cause this happened a few hours ago but heres the log {after i restarted after the two beeps cause it couldnt find the drive}

the resistors on the board look overheated and strange

and did you test the cut trace its hard to see if its cut or not

the cut looks ok at a glance but the pics are not great think the problem is with the resistors

Switch to 10 ohms to start with (most work with this) and switch to unlock.

Looks like yours is set to 5

now that you mention it it looks like switch 3/4 are up and need to be down

put the 5 15 and 20 down and the 10 up to on.

plus slims are picky with sata,so you may need to get a usbpro.

I can't see very clearly on the pic, but I'm sure the switch is set to lock..

Yes I was adding that also the switch is set to "lock"

I tried it on 10 oms. i used 5 oms to get the double beep. I trace cut wasnt deep enough at first and the resistors started smoking, so i went back and made it better. and after the dual beeps do i have to leave the switch on unlocked? When i connect my drive it says no drive found and unless i send an intro command it wont find the drive. But when its in vendor mode I cant do anything with it. so maybe i need the x360usb pro?

switch back to norm after you unlocked it.

x360usb pro is best thing to have for slims.
