0225 labeled as 0401 (0225 spoof)?

Hi together,

I got my Slim back from M$ Service, and now i have a 0401 with a 0225-FW?!
Before, it was a 0225 drive.

I have the key and dummy.bin.... but not a full dump :facepalm:.

Now some people told me, I must wait for a new LT+ or Stock-FW to get it to work.

I flashed 0225, 0225u.. everything is not working :(


Can anyone help me or tell me when there will be a new Firmware release for spoofed 0401 drives?

I know, that there is already LT+ 1.91 out for 0401 drives, but it's not a 0401-Firmware on the drive.

It's spoofed as 0225!!!

I have the exact same problem, drives that came from M$ service are 0401 but when you connect them to jungle appear as 0225, already tried 0225 lt1.91 and 0225u but with no sucess, already change calibration data, flashed with 0401 but nothing seems to work!

Sorry, I didn't make the full dump, only have the dummy. The console is from a client who sent the console to M$ and it came back with 0401 drive, I connected to jugle as I usualy do, slim key and got the dummy file, and drive was told to be a 0225, auto loaded the 0225 firmware but didn't work, play dvd all the time, tried with 0225u...same thing... even tried with 0401 with no sucess!

By the way about the new comers... I work with consoles since 2001 not only xbox but all others, yes I join today cause I'm the kind of guy that searches the forums instead of writing posts or joining them so stop messing with people that are new comers they probably know more than you!

About the need of a 0401u firmware don't think that is the problem since the drive appears as 0225 but to be honest already tried everything...

maybe anybody here with the same problem?

Need a full dump to get the drive in stock-mode. Till now i have just a Slim DVD-Player :D

I also tried this configuration data:

yes, 2 times with dash 13146 and one time with das 13599. Booth with original firmware.

The dummys are exactly same (compared with an hex-editor) and I used x360usb and current JF version (0.1.86) => SlimKey

what i found out:


I got a 0401 Stock firmware now, from xbox360 hacker (thank you).

When i open this firmware in JF as target, it shows me the DVD-Key.
When I use my dummy.bin as Source and create a 0401 fw with autospoofing.... save the image, and open it again, it has a other DVD-Key as in my Dummy.

Is this normal with 0401-Images?

Does it convert the Key?
