LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM 0401 drive won't go to vendor mode

i have the 0401 drive that was flash to lt 3.0v i am trying to go to stock and in jf i hit slimkey and go through all the things it said and i get slim key error i do not have my dummy bin lost it i am using a x360usbpro and ck3i what could be the problem

sir i found out what the problem is .the person that had this console modded said that they had a guy do the kamisis mod to unlock the drive. now do i have to go in to the drive to unlock it? and what do i do when i open up the dvd top of player ? thank you.

First of all, it's Kamikaze.

Second, that is only to enable the read/write of the actual firmware, not to extract the dummy.bin.

Follow sarah1331 steps to the T and you will get the dummy.bin.

Once you have that, and only once you got that and saved it on your computer, can you start working with the firmware.

Follow the steps mentioned otherwise, I suggest you bring it to someone who knows what they are doing.

And maybe include it in the software for flashing the drives would be great

Am imagining sub sections and charts for different drives and fw versions and someone could throw some recovery processes at the end if they had enough time

What are waiting for Martin? It's always trial and error for me. A tutorial for this stuff would really helpfull.... lol.

the chip has what looks like some kind of expoy on it when you say touch it with a q-tip what do you mean? i try doing what you said and still get slim error or slim failed.

just had a brill idea.......sum1 could even come up with a site kinda like a forum and do it all xbox 360's.but i bet sum1 beats me to it and makes 1:tongue:

Press F8 on window boot up to disable signature crap enforcement...if you have done that please be sure to have your X360usb pro on latest firmware v.18.

Edit: be sure to run JungleFlasher as Admin*

F8 not needed whilst using usbpro

It's more like tube feeding. Doesn't even have to chew. :p

But back to the topic, do you have the x360USB Pro plugged into a USB hub? Not sure if that could cause an issue, but I have seen all kinds of problems when using a USB Hub.

And please as Martin told you, post your JF log.
