0800 Q plz help Thanks

ok i finaly flashed my Samsung ms-25 and now i have a question about backing up games with method1 on textbook's tut

Do i need to flash my xbox with the xtrm0800.BIN from the Xtreme_Package-Toshiba_Samsung that i found on Xbins ????

or does the iXtreme10 firmwere allow me to go into 0800 mode ????

NOTE - i know that i also need to burn the enable0800.iso to a DVD+R DL disc which i have done

ok forget all that i know what i have to do now but it is still not working i cant get my drive to show up in windows any ideas ?????

Ixtreme 1.0 and 1.2 do not allow you to use the samsung drive for backups.You would have to use a earlier firmware not recommended.Instead get one of these for your backups

wow thaks for the info m8 but can i just use an older firmwear version that supports it ??

if so wich 1 do you recomand and i just tried to restore my original firmwear but Samorig under DOS just sead bad command....

is there a new command for the Ixtreme 1.0 that lets me restor my orig

ok i now have xtreme53 firmwear on my xbox and i still cant get my drive reconised in windows plz help

be patient, when my pc was looking for the drive it took up to 10 mins. thought the thing had frozon on start up but went away and left it and it booted up. also after this a had to delete some of my progs (rarely used ones) coz i had too many processes running in the back round and my slow pc couldn't handle it. after that it ran smooth as you like

i have been able to re add some of those progs but it may be one or two interferring with things. if no joy i have no idea lol
