SAMSUNG MS28 0800 TS-H943 Firmware

Will there ever be 0800 v3.0 firmware brought out for the TS-H943 Samsung drive??
I'd say the drive is capable of having the firmware and its a wonder it wasn't brought out for the drive.

I would doubt it when there is 0800 available for one of the most common drives on the market, not to mention the BenQ which is the easiest to flash (well untill ck3i came out )

I had my sammy flashed with 0800 v3 but then I was told they only work with benq and lite-on, so just sitting on the shelf now. Good job I had a spare benq

Hopefully it will get sorted soon, they have just finished releasing LT2.0 for the hitatchi drives, so surely they will have nothing better to develop, lol (at least i hope not) lol

It wasn't released because Samsung drives do not check/read AP2.5/2.6 data.

But surely if they can make a lt2.0 for it to play ap2.5 games, then they would be able to get it to rip them? If not - I'm buggard! Lol

It could rip them but the ISOs wouldn't contain the required AP2.5 data needed to conform with standards.

why? - just buy a BENQ or Lie-On
