I have a 1.0 xbox, WinRAR, an Xecuter 3, FlashBIOS menu 3.01, and version 3029 BIOS from xbins. After downloading 3029 BIOS, I went to WinRAR and extracted the files to a folder on my desktop successfully. I opened up Nero and set it all up for a CD-RW option. Then I took the 3029.bin BIOS over to the location it should be in, everything turned Capitals like it should. Then the 100MB Dummy file did the same thing. After I burned the Memorex CD-RW, I took it to my xbox, turned the box on w/ a 512 Bank selected, (my 1MB Bank got screwed up b/c I loaded a 3.03 menu instead of a BIOS on accident). I chose BIOS from CD option, it opened the DVD tray, I put in the CD-RW and closed the tray. A menu said waiting for drive... and after about a minute, spit the CD back out and said enter CD Flashing Mode, or whatever that blinking yellow message is. I put it back in and got the same results time after time. Finally it pulled up the menu and said CD Label: X3_BIOS, and below said no updates found, halting. So I am not sure if the problem is my CD, Motherboard, X3, or setup of burning. Can someone help me?
