I just installed a x3 into a 1.0 xbox and the flash bios screen comes on fine. Once you flash the BIOS (2913) there is no video or audio, when booting with the chip enabled. Able to access backup BIOS fine and able to boot with the chip disabled just fine. Any pointers......

Also wanted to let you know I have been searching on the issue and saw some things about makeing sure pins 13 and 14 had good connections. I have gone over them like 5 times, and they look just as good as the other pins.

I am also currently having this same issue with a 1.0 xbox. I have tried resoldering the 13 & 14 pin about 10 times, but it will still not boot with audio or video after flashing the X3. I have made sure that I am flashing with the correct bios, and not the one for v1.6 box's. This is the first time I have run into this, so if anyone could help I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!

Check for solder splashes on the board around the LPC, after that wait for some advice from some of the more eperienced people.

OK, I was able to get it working. I reflashed with the 2913 bios for v1.0-1.5 xbox's and it worked great. I also double checked the solder points.

I was mistaken.....the xbox now boots to the x3 config live screen, but it will not save any of the settings. Also when I reflash back to the 1959 bios there is still no audio or video.

I was able to resolve the issue I was having. I had accidently flashed the chip with the 1.6 BIOS before I checked the pins 13 and 14 to test the chip in my xbox(since the chip was for a friends xbox) and after resoldering those pins I forgot to flash it back to the non 1.6 BIOS. So after resoldering the pins and flashing with the correct BIOS everything works like a Champ. Thanks for all the help adn I hope this helps people in the future.
