1.4 and 2.6ce problem w/ bios

I modded my xbox v 1.4 with an xecuter 2.6ce. I connected a new HD and it was recognized by flashbios as being 300gb. This is where I thin I messed up. I downloaded x2.5032bin file. I have a router so I used the enable network flash option in flashbios 3.0.3. I then went to my pc and flashed the bios over http with the x25032 binfile (size 1024). On my tv screen it said it was flashing and I saw a progress bar and then it turned off....I turned it back on and now it boots up and says "xecuter2 config live loading"....then it goes the a screen with horizontal lines and and error 13 in the corner.


Am I missing a huge step here? I am begining to get more frustrated with this, along with a new found respect for all you modders out there

how do I get the ftp software on the drive?

You've jumped in with both feet.

Replace the large HDD with the stock one. It should work fine.
Once working, read the tutorials on changing the HDD.

because you put in a new hdd, there's no dash files on there for your box to recognize

did you make a backup of your stock hdd C and E drive?

first format the new drive, then you need to make a bootdisc that can of a dash that supports ftp and ftp over your backup of c and e drives

or you can download slayers and format and rebuild the drive with that

I have slayer iso. I can't for the life of me get it to boot. I have tried cd rw and dvd -r. Is the best way to back up stock c: and e: to hook it up to my pc as slave and transfer the files? Is the reason my slayer iso is not working becuase I don't have my stock hd in my xbox?

your PC won't be able to read the files. I think before you start trying to upgrade your hard drive, you should get a dashboard working on your stock hard drive and get a feel for how it all works.

Get the files for a dashboard, I recommend avalaunch. Get it from xbins. Then rename the avalaunch.xbe to default.xbe, then make an ISO of all the avalaunch files, as well as a dummy file.

Make the .ISO using a program called Qwix (go to www.teamavalaunch.com to download it) then use nero or dvddecrypter to burn the .iso (you're not burning the .iso file to a disk, you're burning the disk FROM the .iso image).

I can get the slayer to boot from disc only when my stock hd is in.....I get an error 13 when I have my 300 gb hd in...any solutions???

Are you 100% sure Slayers is booting before MS Dashboard when you're using the stock HDD? Does MS Dash boot if you remove Slayers?

I'm just trying to work out if you're seeing Slayers from the CD or in fact Evox from the HDD.
