1.4 install only one led on the modchip comes on

I just installed a 1.4, and have rechecked my sauder points, but i only get one led to come on on the mod chip. it is the blue led closest to the front of the case, the one in the back corner doesnt come on.

Is this normal for a 1.4 install..becuase i have a 1.0 that both led's light up on.

check pin 15 see if it is soldered in good
make sure the solder goes right down the lpc hole
i had the same problem

connect pin 15 to pin 9 on the bottom of the LPC port

I have good 3.3 voltage on both points.

when i have the front x3 bios switch plugged in, i loose my second light on the chip.

when i unplug it i get both led's on the chip on, but my xbox frags 3 times, staying on the third time, but freezing at the x on the screen

anyone have any suggestions?

this post can be deleted. the chip is bad. i put it in another modded box that is working, and it gave me the same result.

Prosecution drops charges against California kid, who was the target of an undercover sting. Charges were dropped due to lack of sufficient plausible evidence. A win or not, I think not, good for the kid, but it would have been nice to see what sort of outcome the case would have definately made precidence for the whole community. Egh thoughts?
