1.5 box w/ 2.6ce chip wired

Hello, sorry if this has been answered before but I couldnt find it. I installed a 2.6ce chip in my box, upgraded from 2.3B lite+. I used the wired method. All my soldering is good, I redid it a couple of times to make sure that it wasnt that. When ever I turn my xbox on without the DVD drive or the HDD I get a long pause after the flubber screen and then error 7 (HDD timeout). Ok, well of course, there is no HDD in it. So then I put both the HDD and the DVD drive in and I get error 16 (dashboard). This is not a new HDD, it was used just a day ago with Avalaunch. My problem is, that besides the constant error's, the chip won't even boot to the FlashBios screen.

Since I have tried everything I could possible imagine, is it possible that the chip is bad? Or am I overlooking something?

Oh also, my switch for the chip my be shorting or something. I have to wiggle it a couple times to get it work.

Turn the chip off, boot to the Microsoft dash and set the time.
